Review of 1-Button RPG

As small as the title implies.

As you start playing 1-button rpg, you are given a simple set of instructions. Pressing the up arrow once will start gaining you experience. Pressing it again will stop. It leaves out that you have to remain 'focused' on the game, but oh well. Close enough. Every ten levels, you unlock a new song. The songs aren't really too bad, actually, so at least there's that. And there has been the addition of a save/load feature, so you don't have to just sit staring at the screen for an age and a half at once.
Anyway, my experience was as follows: Hit play. Had no idea what to do, so I went back to the main menu and actually read the instructions. Realized what button I was supposed to press, and returned to the game. Hit the up arrow... And waited... and waited... thought the levels might be gained really quickly, as the increase in exp multiplier was outpacing the increase in exp to next level... but then the to next level started increasing faster, and that hope went out the window. Then I wrote up to this point in the review, because after ten levels, I was already pretty bored. I should probably note at this point that if you're big on grammar and spelling, this game will wind up pissing you off just because of one thing... 'Experience' is not spelled correctly on the main game screen. So you're in for looking at that for quite a while... The background doesn't change, and really, barely anything at all changes unless you continue to change the music. It's just a game of waiting for the bar to fill up ten times, then listening to a new song as you repeat the process. Obviously not intended to be serious, but as a game, I only give it 2/10.
