CE hex search

so occasionally when switching between AOB and 4byte, the 4byte becomes hex. so if i search 4byes for say 300 the results are all 300 in hex instead of decimal like i want. is there a way to fix this without restarting CE??

Why can't you just work it out in your head?

Some hex values can be quite hard to work out in your head. Like, what would 6A be in decimal, or what is 237 in hex? I know how to work it out thanks to the electronics subject I did last year, and can mostly do it in my head because I can see maths mentally, but even so, I don't think most people can figure out something like 2A4F into decimal in their heads (this isn't to anyone in specific, don't get mad at me if you think it's to you, i assure you it's not)

I can work it out in my head. we had to do it all the time in my assembly class and my op sys class.... its just a nuisance id rather not bother with, kinda like gonorrhea. Mostly because my method for converting b16<==>b10 is garbage because its b16<==>b2<==>b10...

on another note, does CE5.5 hang and eventually crash (or lock up the system) for anyone else when they do 4byte searches after doing AoBs and then unticking the hex box??

No, could be your computer, how much ram you have?
