Review of Deep Sleep
Love is Deep when you Sleep

This is a Point & Click with a nice horror story. Not too sure if it was influenced by Silent Hill, but some of the music does feel like it.
In terms of graphics, the game is excellent on using its "pixelated" artstyle. It has some film grain but that's trivial for me, not sure about you. The sound is perfect, most of it is matching so you think you know what you're doing, where you're going, etc. Atmosphere is the best, you might not really feel immersed in this world, MIGHT, but it is so eerie that its pixelated graphics don't really downgrade it (nor upgrade it). Of course the atmosphere is abstract, but you should have known that by now ;)
Now, the gameplay? Not much to say at all, since this is a Point & Click. You just go around rooms and click on stuff. You do get an inventory system and you do get some items that you can combine, very few though. There is some items you don't really need, it's just for some achievements, although that might not be true in Chapter 1 but in 2 and 3 it is.
I don't know about you people, but this game is very replayable for me. This is the 4th time I replayed it and I might do so again. Of course, not always.
By the way, the starting quote "Look upon the abyss, and the abyss looks upon you" by Nietszche? I'm not going to say that's beautiful since that's an opinion. What I am going to say though is that it makes sense, a lot. I will explain it, but that means spoiling it. In Chapter 3, I will explain it though, so don't worry.
Overall, a great game to waste some time, especially if you love horror a lot and when that horror is about dreams. This game really reminds a lot of my own dreams, when I feel at home, yet I'm not at home, I'm dreaming. It's creepy. If you had similar dreams, you would understand.
