Review of Strikeforce Kitty 2
Strikeforce Kitty 2?

Let me be very frank on this game: It visually is good, mechanically is somewhat decent, yes. But this game is not really worth playing because, memory leak.
The concept of the game looks and feels interesting, quite a few improvements from the first Strikeforce Kitty, be a cat, kill other animals, snatch their costumes and power up! The only player-interactive mechanic that this game present is only one thing, jump! It feels like a great concept for a game should it be released on the android and/or the iOS platform. Flash is a decent platform to release this game on (one of them being providing the entertainment ad-free), but I don't think it's the optimal release platform for a game with mechanics like this.
The art and music are the usual run-of-the-mill, bright colors and vibrant sounds, complimenting the "cuteness" aspect of the game (of course, you're playing as cats, it ought to be cute, ain't it?). The game also presents quite a reasonable amount of cultural references, poking fun by putting several cameos from trademark-heavy characters and "almost" breaking the copyright strike for "almost" presenting the theme music of Rocky, of course, to evade copyright strikes, some of the names of the characters were changed.
It dissapoints me that this game is very poorly optimized; that really is the main turnoff of the game. It feels frustrating that you need to refresh every 5-6 or so stages so that the game works at the speed it is supposed to be. Bummer :/ I could've sworn that the game could be decent, they kindof have the perfect recipe for it! I wouldn't say I have the perfect PC that is awesome at running games (in fact, my laptop's kinda old), but I have a decent enough PC that can run the sims 3 with most expansions without any significant performance issue. Yet a flash game, is somehow more a memory hog as compared to the sims 3? It's a flash game, it's not Skyrim or anything...
Plus, I'm really not sure why this game deserves badges when clearly it's very buggy... Perhaps the game only have hits from people who's refreshing over and over again?
