Review of Bush Whacker 2

Interesting at first but overall not fun

Bush Whacker 2 (BW2) is a click based 'rpg' with an energy system on a 5 minute timer. Personally I am normally against energy games as I like to play as much as I want and not be limited. I am only a small chunk into the game because of the limit but since a review (and hacks) are not posted yet I figured I'd give it a go.

BW2 starts with a basic tutorial where you learn to click to move and attack, it also shows you what the abilities do and how they function. Overall only about 5 minutes and honestly it isn't needed the game is very straight forward. The game works on a system of Power, Energy, Mana, EXP. Power is used for some skills while mana is used for other skills, really easy to see and again straight forward. The Energy system is the same as most games, any action takes a set amount of energy and every 5 minutes you regain 1 + modifiers of energy. BW2 doesn't really have much RPG elements yet but again I am not very far so the EXP is useless to me except a free refill of power/mana/energy.

BW2 you target objects to kill which in turn drop quest items, junk items, energy, mana, power, or equipment. This system is really simple and requires no skill other than managing your mana/power/energy as some actions using mana don't take energy. Pretty early on you aquire a house you can decorate and buy items for which is a nice addon for those who enjoy that type of thing. The company behind BW2 does seem to do events for most major holidays (currently a Val. Day thing going on) which lets you farm different items for other rewards (to include energy).

To make a long story short however, the game just isn't much fun at least so far. I hope that maybe some hacks (energy) might come out but usually it is server sided and not hackable but we shall see.
