Review of ROBOKILL 2
Fun Top-Down Shooter

In Robokill 2 your mission is to clear your ship of an infestion of aliens. You command a robot that can hold up to four guns and four items. Weapons and items are level limited. You control the robot from a top-down perspective. Controls are WASD for movement, mouse to aim and left mouse button to fire (hold to spray bullets). Pressing Q brings up your inventory and pressing E will display a map of the areas you have cleared. Some rooms have teleport pads which can be used by opening the map and clicking on where you want to go. You can only travel to rooms you have cleared or the Shop.
Aliens you encounter range from creepy-crawlies that come up through the floor, slugs that mutate, larger creatures that ressemble tadpoles (some with lasers and shields), robots and more. Once you disturb them, they all come directly for you and most of the time there is no place to hide. Shooting them is your best chance for survival, but running isn't a bad idea either. Unfortunately for you, whenever aliens are active, the doors to the room you are in are sealed and there's not a whole lot of space between you and the aliens. Suggestion - don't let them get close or they'll overwhelm your shields and you'll die.
Dying is not permanent in the game. In fact you loose only some money and respawn at the nearest teleport pad. I expect if you have no money, dead is final. Also, each time you die, two rooms you have cleared are re-taken by aliens. However you do not need to clear all of the rooms. Your objective is to reach the boss allien room (marked in red on the map when you are near it). To get there you need to find keys. If you clear all the rooms your bot may reach level 4, which will be useful because when you get to the next part.
End Game: When you kill the boss alien your map is reset and you have access to more powerful items at the shop. Also the aliens are much harder to kill and seem to have been weaponized. Even with all the best weapons, the second run through can be very challenging.
