Review of Connections

Connections, a game about the magic of friends ?

By Rwolf · Apr 5, 2015

Connection is not a game about the gameplay, the story orhow you can hack (there would be no point in that in my opinion.)

It is about how you approach the game and how you leave it. There is nothing fancy, it is not really long and the replayability is not that great but it i's still a nice little game to chill down for bit and think about things and stuffs. You play as a cell with a limited timelife, born from two others they give you ressources that you can either stock, use to shoot enemy or give to other cells to make them your friend. They will in return give your ressources and shoot at enemies. I would advise you to give to those cells, the stronger you help them to get the more ressources they will give back to you and the faster they will shoot at enemies.  The game also have a "score" system included to see how well you did in your run and compare it to previous tries or other people. The score is how much energy you have at the end of your life, so the more friends you make the more energy you have. All in all it is about you want to spend that energy that will make a difference in the long run. Will you use it to fight off enemies, use it to help your friends or keep it to yourself ?

There isn't much more to it, it is a simple little enjoyable game. Go on and give it a try.
