Different Name, Same Game

So I really don't like when people make essentially the exact same game but call it a "2".  This unfortunately is one of those.  While Epic Boss Fighter itself was a good game, this seemed to be a ripoff of the original.  Rating this game now as if the original didn't exist.    Epic Boss Fighter 2 is a typical bullet time game where you face off against a bunch of bosses that shoot what seem like millions of bullets at you.  Basically you hit the thing a bunch of times and they spit out coins that you can use to upgrade your equipment.

The equipment you have consists of 4 different catergories.  You have Suits, Accessories, Droids, and Consumables.   Suits give you the base stats and your power.  There are a bunch of different powers that regen as you fight.  Accessories give you stat boosts in whatever you feel.  You got damage boosts, health, regen, speed, rate of fire, luck, and cooldown reduction.  Droids are essentially extra helpers that either help shoot at the bosses, block boss shots, or swing and hit whatever is in their path.  Consumables are like Accessories but only work on one run and they're gone.  You start out in normal mode and go against 15 bosses that get harder as you go along.  There are achievements you can get for different things as you go along that give you a few extra coins to spend at the store.  When you beat this mode, you move onto hard mode that unlocks beefier equipment and obviously "harder" bosses.  And now there are 18 of them.  Then when you beat them you unlock Insane mode which makes the game harder and unlocks the best equipment.  There are 20 bosses and you take them on one at a time. 

The gameplay is good.  Each boss has different attacks to throw at you in different environments that have different obstacles associated with them.  Honestly it plays a lot like an arcade game but that's not a bad thing.  Anywho if you enjoyed the first one, this is a good continuation of that and I would recommend playing it.  Otherwise it may not be worth your time.
