Review of Grindquest (Censored)

07/18/2014

Alright, let me get this straight, this is the censored version of grindquest, it was censored because blizzard had a copyright issue with the game, mainly because it was directly stolen from the popular MMO World of Warcraft (More commonly known as WoW), now to the actual review.

As an avid fan of idle games that actually have you do things for a long while to get a great end game result, in this case it's an heirloom for your new characters (an heirloom is just something that levels with you according to your class), speaking of classes, there are 10 classes, the Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Paladin, mage, Warlock, Priest, Shaman, Death Knight and the Monk, each with their own base stats that they work off of.

when you start the game you have no gear, bad stats, no EXP, the usual stuff for a level 1. You can do quests wich usually involve killing a certain number of one type of mob that is guaranteed to spawn when you have the quest mode selected, on the other hand there is a grind mode wich jsut faces you against random mobs at your level, when you're about level 10 you should go to the second zone by going to the map, there are also a lot of zones with diffirent mobs, quests, and rewards.

Much later in the game there is a place called Naxxaramas, it's the one and only raid you can do in the game, it's meant for very high level players before you go in it has you select AI members that go in with you that increase your stats based on their role to make the extremely hard mobs beatable, it's meant to be extremely hard even for well geared players and it's still hard with the AI players.

There is also multiple dungeons scattered across the zones, not in EVERY zone though, only in a select few. They contain harder mobs that spawn that drop decent gear for you to use that makes everything easier, until you get to the next dungeon atleast.

There isn't much else for me to talk about, except that it is a really fun game if you're into Idle games that you look at every once in a while and play, and then go idle again for another few hours, this game is meant to take a while, it isn't a short game and it isn't an easy game, you're going to die a lot when you're idle, that's a guaranteed thing unless you're really good and have characters at max level and with heirlooms.
