Achilles is centered on the adventures of the Trojan hero of legend. There is no real storyline to this game other than the fact that Achilles was a warrior and your job is to lead him to victory against those who would wish him dead. You start each level with a spear, a sword, and a shield. The spear can be thrown for a one hit kill on any enemy (archer, swordsman, or spearman) except for any of the five bosses. Once thrown a spear cannot be picked up since they are so strong, but upon killing any spearman you can pick up their spear, which is one of the best ways to succeed at this game. In addition to bashing with your shield, slicing and stabbing with your sword, and throwing and thrusting your spear you can also kick your enemies. While this might sound stupid since you can clearly do more damage with a weapon, kicking is essential because it can stun an enemy or even break a leg which will leave him stunned until hit by another attack. The game become progressively more difficult with more enemies, stronger enemies, and bosses that will challenge you (Unless you just kick them until they die of course). However the hacks for this game are good since they will give you invulnerability which will make this game a piece of cake and you can even make it so you only have to fight one enemy per level, which will help you fly through the 15 levels of this game. I highly recommend trying this game out if you like combat games as it can be challenging yet satisfying when you can one shot almost every enemy with a well thrown spear.
