Wonderful game overall, The soundtrack is original and pleasent to hear. Loved the characters random commentary during combat. Combat system itself was simple and easy to use, Allowing you to keep up to 6 frequently used skills readily at hand and neatly grouping similar skills together for ease of access. It's story was simple to understand yet different enough to not sound cliche.

You have a variety of weapons and armor for all characters that fit different scenarios, even if you decide not to try and get them all. In addition, all weapons and armor can be levelled up using various items obtains either from quests/ chests, or monster drops, meaning those who seek greater challenge can weaken themselves further by electing to leave all gear unlevelled. The elemental, status, and stat bonuses and penalties mean you always need to put thought into how a character is geared. Do you want High physical damage and health, or powerfuly spells and plentiful MP pools? Do you want to make an unfliching tank who can sit back and take hit after hit, or a speedy light hitter with great accuracy? They're all options with the right equipment, even if it's unlevelled.

The sheer number of skills means you can have traditional party members who old RPG style designations like the buffer, healer, defender, or damage dealer, or you can mix and match however you desire. A good portion of the summons are a little weak in my opinion, but they almost always come with some sort of status effect that either buffs you or debuffs enemies.

Numerous, fairly humorous, references to other games/shows that most people should understand. Large diversity in enemies making non-hacked runs a decent challenge even on easy difficulty. The sheer number of elemental affinity combinations enemies have will make you think twice before recklessly attacking, lest you end up healing more enemies than you hurt. Each boss has a simply strategy that takes some of their bite away, but without hacks there is a verry real possibility of you dieing if you get overconfident, especially if you dont take their elemental or status defences into account.

The only real problems I had were with framerate issues during multi target spells, some limit breaks an summons, or battles with large enemies or more than 4 enemies, My computer is pretty good, I used to play World of Warcraft on it, and occasionally I still play Minecraft with decent fps, but this game, even when all the setting were on their lowest, still somehow managed to go down to a measly 9 fps. No idea how, but it did.

Overall it was a wonderful RPG and I loved it despite bad framerate, enough to play it another 2 times after beating it on easy. I beat it on epic difficulty, then another time on epic with hacks to see how ridiculously overpowered I could make the party without blatantly using infinite health/mp hacks. After i got the party together i got them to hit for hundreds of thousands, everything fell before my unnatural might :3
