Idle Car Manager, a game created by Ryu82
By now, you've likely played an Idle, Incremental, or Clicking game. If you have not, I would strongly recommend trying one out! However, after you've prestiged, ascended, or whatever a few times... the game becomes monotonous pretty quickly. Now what? Find a new game, of course!
Good news! You've come to the right place! Idle Car Manager is one of the most innovative and interesting Idle games I have come across! Below is part of the description of the game:
"Produce cars and sell cars. Improve car parts, research for better parts, create new and better cars!"
can be found via http://www.kongregate.com/games/Ryu82/idle-car-manager?acomplete=idle+car
Sounds simple right? Well... it can be! The object of the game is to make the best cars and become filthy stinking rich. It can't be THAT hard, can it? It can. You have to be able to manage numerous employees undergoing various tasks, such as researching upgrades and improvements on car parts such as the Chassis, Engine, and Tires, which will allow you to make better cars! All the while you're trying to keep the flow of production going, you have to worry about keeping your employees' morale up. The more experience they have, the more money they will want. What makes the game so different from other incremental games is the fact that you have to sell cars. But wait! There's more! For only a few more headaches, you can also have to manage advertising, supply and demand, and the fluctuating prices of cars (supply and demand)! So, as you can see there's a lot to do, and is unlike your average Idle game.
Along with the good, there is also some bad, but what game is without flaw?
Although Idle Car Manager is a fun, interactive, and semi-immersive game, there is a bit of a learning curve. The tutorial covers pretty much everything you need to know, but as with most things in life, most things are better learned through trial and error. Believe me, you will err.
I am not sure if this is necessarily a drawback, but the game also requires a lot of time and patience (especially if you opt not to use hacks). If you are familiar with a well known Incremental game that uses a kitten theme, then you will definitely appreciate this.
The graphics are pretty simple, as with a lot of incremental games. Nothing too fancy, and not so colourful it strains your eyes. The music? I can't say that I'm a fan of the music, but I generally mute games before I give them a chance anyway.
The hacks, which are available via the KH UT, are pretty good as well. The Trainer hacks were submitted by a very well known and respected member of the KH community. The user has made the game significantly easier and much more entertaining, should you choose to hack the game. I'm unsure of the hackablilty of the game, but I do know that the hacks currently available should suffice any cheater.
Overall I'd give the game a solid 8.5/10. It's certainly a unique game to say the least.
[MOD/ADMIN PLEASE DELETE AFTER READING THIS PART: I apologize if the review is too personal and perhaps off topic, but I was aiming to cover the more important aspects of the game and the hacks related to it. Please feel free to edit it to your satisfaction]
