Quite honestly, this is probably the hardest hack that I have ever done - and for a pretty easy game at that. The code was obfuscated and in german. It took probably about 3 hours to do. I would have given up 2.75 hours ago, but I didn't want to let it beat me (broken image removed)
I have never seen a game coded like this. There was no variable for health. It was all based on frames. Really really odd. Hope this helps. I've seen a few games on Newgrounds that just use movies to mangle health (e.g. Pico, Brawl Royale). There're a sod to do, but fun :-) |
