Variables are stored as doubles, but it's got that cheat protection going on again. I know AOBs have bypassed that in the past (change the function that sets the variable rather than the variable itself), so I'm going to be ambitious and make this my first try at AOBing. Anyway, what am I looking for? I've never encountered Protection before, nor have I also never seen an example
to it, besides AS2 (I think it was either "pirated" or "cheated", both receiving no results here). It looks like this game has a lot of hacking potential.
.sol edit doesn't work either, even Ragnarok can't read it and gives you an error. :?

I had just tried this and it works fine. Modify the AoBs before pressing New Game.

I don't exactly know what the "Protection" is (my user name is fitting), but I tried hacking this over at newgrounds. I found the money value just fine (double) but as soon as I tried messing with it the game would completely lock up. I was able to find the power smash value in 4 bytes, it can be altered without any negative effects, but it's basically useless.

That is exactly what protection is. Protection is basically: "If someone tries to alter the game's memory [which is what Cheat Engine does], the game goes like lulwtf". Since AoBs alter the game's code, they're ok.

Also, thanks for array of bytes praetor, they worked like a charm. When changing "d1 d2 a0 d3 a0 62 04 a0 48" to "02 02 02 24 64 24 08 a2 48" I was only getting up to 800 gems. It wasn't unlocking the weapons since they require 1k, so I changed it to "02 02 02 24 64 24 0A A2 48" which (somehow) worked.
Last I looked, on Kong, the highest item required 750 diamonds to unlock. If there is one that requires 1000, then yes that would work.
24 64 24 08 a2 48 = return 100 * 8
by changing it to 0a (10), it would return 1000.
