Newer game on kongregate, trying my hand at AoB's.. The game is basicly a bad version of Epic War but with a Sci-Fi mask on.  Got bored at 7 in the morning, decided to learn bytecode hacking. (broken image removed)

I might add more, but as this game is ridiculously easy even without the hack you shouldn't need anything more. I don't see this game getting badges anytime soon.

The upgrade points are also 4b*8. Not that you'd want to play the whole game anyway, reminds me too much of Balloon Invasions samesameysameness.

By using wildcards (the ?? in AoBs), wildcards are something you put in when searching for an AoB that changes constantly or to find many AoBs without searching one by one.

(If you don't know what wildcards are) They are a custom value in CE that is used when searching to find multiple arrays by replacing the ?? with a random number, and if one matches with the code, it will be shown as a result.

It's a little hard to explain, just think "replace ?? with ##".

In this case, instead of finding "96 04 00 08 2f 05 00" and then "96 04 00 08 2e 05 00", you can simply search for "96 04 00 08 2? 05 00" and it'll search for everything with 2#, so you don't have to search for everything separately.

Ah I get it. I'm going to try this right now.

EDIT: Ahh I do get it. But what sucks is that i can't shift and left click on the Addresses and change them all easily. I have to separately change the values.

I searched for : 96 04 00 08 2? 05 00
and i got 46 results, strangely some of the values were like this:
96 04 00 08 1D 05 00

and that confused me because i searched for 96 04 00 08 2? 05 00 why did cheat engine include that AoB?
Also there is about 12 AoB's that only need changing. So why did cheat engine pick up the other AoB's that doesn't even have the 2. 96 04 00 08 2? 05 00

EDIT2: Lol okay i just re read your 2nd paragraph and that's why cheat engine picked up 1D and all those other numbers. the ?? are replaced with random numbers.
