Game Dscription
The first world in the Fancy Pants Adventures series. Don’t forget to play World 2 next! Update! Carried some code over from World 2, most importantly the re-timing code. Meaning now, as long as your computer is fast enough, the game will actually run at 30 fps, instead of just around 20, no matter how fast your computer was.

I think it's much easier to spend 5 minutes using the AOBs you can find in another Fancy Pants Adventure thread. I just used the one that submits your time at either 160 or 173 no matter what time you finish it at, and the one that makes it so that I don't lose health.

this game is easy with root vars
_level0/:frameCounter -> freeze at some point below the 180 seconds, not too low because of the high scores! _level0/:maxBaddies -> its initial value should be 64, if you change this to 0 you can walk through the spiders and the other baddies, for the final boss, change this to 8 (no other baddies beside him will spawn) to defeat him easily, you can't jump on him if you are walking through him with the var on 0 :p |

I've been at these AoB's and root variables for two days now, and I'm able to pull up partial matches (like ":Lives" or "frameCounter" but that's it. A full search, for instance, for _level0/:Lives isn't coming up with anything, but I can match :Lives maybe 200 or so times, and _level0/ pulls up over 100. I thought I had the time values set at one point, as well, but my playthrough didn't register. It looks like the AoB's posted here and in the original topic have been modified slightly

Any help would be nice... I know I am a little bit late but I think this information will be very usefull for many others that will read this in the future. In this game whenever I reversed root variable addresses by byte, the new address ended with 4 and not with c. Most people do not know what to do when they encounter this so here is the solution: Usually you subtract with 7 before you reverse again (c->5) but this time you have to subtract by f (x4->[x-1]5). Everything else works like normal. If you do not know how to hack root variables, check out this tutorial. I'm an amateur myself and I would be glad if anyone could explain to me why you suddenly have to subtract by f (must the new address always end with a 5?). I already used both the forum search and google search to no avail. I have less experience and understanding about root variables than about AOBs and I would like to change this. Please PM me if you can help me out. =D |

There ya go: I'm sorry to bump this, but I think those AOB's are outdated. I target the right process (plugin-container.exe for firefox) and I tried entering it on the loading screen and in the game itself. I would make a new AOB... but I'm not a supergenious (broken image removed) Respect for you AOB-makers! |

There ya go: What the fuck? I tried those AoBs about one or two months ago, and they worked, but now they don't. The developer apparently just changed them so sudden?! |
