[Part One of my .sol Tutorial. I will make the other video tomorrow and put it in the same topic. (broken image removed)]

How to find a .Sol file in XP/Vista
This little text/video tutorial will guide you though the steps of how to find the location of a .sol, on the popular gaming site, Kongregate.

Thanks to lol xD for this method - also this is only for Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

Text:

1: Go to the Game. (broken image removed)

2: Press the Contact Us button at the very bottom of the page.

3: Look at the URL in the new tab.

http://www.kongregate.com/feedbacks/new?game_id=45630

45630 = 00045630 = C:UsersYOUR COMPUTER NAMEAppDataRoamingMacromediaFlash Player#SharedObjects***RANDOM NUMBERS AND LETTERS***chat.kongregate.comgamez0045630liveLearn_to_fly_Final_3.52k.swf

This number shows where the .sol is located.
The "4", means that it is located in the 0004 folder.
The 5630, is which folder it is located, inside the 0004 folder.

How to replace .Sol files in XP/Vista
Hello. This tutorial will teach you how to move .sol files on kongregate. You should already know how to do this, but if not, this guide will help you.

Text:

If you're using VISTA, steps 1-3 are optional. If you are using XP or some other OS, then it is mandatory.

1: Search Folder in the search box on the startup menu
2: Click the "view" tab
3: Click and select "Show hidden folders" and Click apply

4: Download the .sol to your desktop
5: Search AppData in the search box in the startup menu when you click start.
6: Click Roaming, Macromedia, Flash Player, #Shared Objects, (Random numbers and letters), chat.kongregate, gamez, select which folder the game is it (like 0001 0002 0003...etc)
7: Drag the .sol from your desktop/downloads into the folder that says "(sol name here)" and click "Move and Replace.
8: Load the game up, and i will be done. (broken image removed)

lol idek why i still come here

wow so easy....great job..
Nice job. Hopefully, there won't be anymore "Wat's A SOL?!?!"
Yeah, I'm actually gonna do that video later tomorrow, and explain how to move them. I already have a video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5zPNY408sI ).. but that one sucks...I'm planning on making anew one that zooms in and out for better quality.
nice, before i would just search folder after folder looking for a particular game. hated that.
Maybe add in the XP path? (broken image removed)
Yeah, but the problem is, I don't know where hey store files. I have never worked with .sol files in XP..so IDK how to do that. (broken image removed)
Dammit. I keep screwing up. =/

I already tried 5 times the video today and it always messed up. Once...my Camtasia studio crashed. FUCK Vista.
I'm going to edit your post and add the xp path.

*Edit* Done, I added that the first one was only for Vista / 7 too.

Awesome.
This will help a lot of people, I already knew how to locate and replace .sol files, but this is nice, for reference if someone asks something about it.
