Game Dscription
A simple strategy game. Capture, fight, defend, domination... sitting at the special military terminal.

This one has peaked my interest from a hacking perspective.  I seem to be able to find the troop value for any given star (4 byte *1) but changing it makes no difference.  No root variables, so if it's using a pointer it's doing it in some way I'm not familiar with.  No results for doubles, 4 bytes *8, or even floats, so I can't find a 'secondary' memory address that might be holding the real value while the 4 byte is just a "display" address or a decoy.

Thoughts?

Um. Just looking at the tutorial level, with just one planet, you can find your ship count in 4 bytes:Ships*8+6, and you can edit it to whatever you want, just make sure it follows the *8+6 or else you will end up with NaN ships and when you try to send them somewhere, it will just be 0 sent.

Not sure about the other levels or what would happen with multiple planets, but the levels shouldn't matter and I assume each planet will have its own variable to change.

yeah, nice find: you don't usually see a *8+6. It's interesting you bring up the NaN bit, since the few games that do implement the +6 (that shooter game w/ the chickens and classes, can't remember the name  :x ) would crash the browser if you don't change your variable correctly
