Yes, I know these AoBs are inelegant and god-awful, but they work, and you'd have to pay me to wade through the crappy code of this game any longer. It's like they found a button on their compiler called "inline fucking everything", and they pressed it a few times just to make sure. So instead of having code that reads something like "If the note is on the line, count it as a hit, otherwise count it as a miss", the code has pretty well identical code appearing 5 times (once for every "colour" of note), with huge functions. And it's in fucking Spanish what's more.
Can't lose (change both) Code: [Select] 66 95 1b 24 02 d0 Pressing a key automatically hits the first incoming note (change all 35 - yes, 35 - results) - won't hold down however, which means you miss a lot of potential points, hence the score booster later Code: [Select] d0 66 ab 04 66 8f 1b 66 a7 1b d0 66 86 04 66 91 1b 66 a8 1b d0 66 ab 04 66 a9 1b 46 aa 1b 01 If you're wondering, this code roughly translates as "Is the note in the right place?". I honestly wouldn't suggest doing this .sol style, granted Kong could care less but still. I dislike 100 people all having the same score on every single level it makes it quite easy for them to do a mass ban if they would ever crack down. It's ultimately up to you guys, I just wanted to add that to this conversation though.
*Edit* Also I would like to state these are the AOB's currently working. - This is working still also. Apply the Can't lose and Multiply score by 5 AoBs. After that, for the medium badge, hit a couple notes at the beginning of each song then speed it up to 10x until the game is over. Switch back to 1x and wait for the tick to appear.
For the hard badge, slow the game down to 0.5 and hit them on easy while you get the required amount of points. Then speed it up again to 10x, wait for the result screen, slow down to 1x and wait for the tick. Unlike with the SCGMD series, the game will last as long as there are colored pieces down there, regardless of the length of the song, which can end before you have the required amount of points. Piece of cake. Thanks for the great AoBs. |
