the method at the "official" thread is useless, since the game detects the cheat and sets your money to 0.
to get the medium simply start a new hard game, scan for enemy candidate's health (4b*1), attack him, search for new value, set to 10 and attack him again.

i know it's an old game, but it's always nice to have updated hacks for everything.
