but now you spare a lot of spaces for you to add custom code to the game, and do whatever you like. It is a few hundred bytes of spaces, in the function think(), getstate() and runstate().

Issue solve this thread can be closed now.

There were 2 addresses per value. One address stored the original value while the other stored the original value + bonuses from armor etc...

So the only way to locate the address for the original value would be to unequipe all equipment that modify stats then level up so you can modify the original value.

im trying and im trying but i cant do it. it seems i ve missed something. you used cheat engine,right? so if your strength is 8, you put 16 in the search and so on? if so, why do i keep failing?

Switch the search type to Double. You said your strength was 8, and since the OP said double*1, one could suspect to scan for 8, and so on.

Hey i need help im using CE 6.0 and im using double search type and i can't find anything. I have nothing equipped in game please help man.

Oh yeah and do i double the value to search for it or just if strength is 10 search for 10??

Dude, seriously...two posts above yours.

Ive read the above posts, and i have used what they said, set the value type to 'double' and searched for the value that my stat is (strength is 8 = i search for (broken image removed). But I am having trouble finding which one it is. My process is like this:

I get to the point where i need 1 more monster to level up, remove all my equipment (including my sword) and attack a monster with a spell, so that I have no active bonuses.
Then it levels up, and I am at the stat distribution screen, i search for the value of the stat that i have, add one to it, then search for the new stat. ie: I have 8 str, i search for 8, add 1, now i have 9 str, type in 9, and do 'next scan'. But the problem is it usually does not find any value that matches.

Am i doing anything wrong? Thanks.

Edit: I know you wanted to have this topic locked, but seeing as it's now on Kong and has a 4.34 rating and the Kong API, it's a sure contender for badges, and I know that there's a load of stuff just waiting to be explored.

Level up much faster (get 16000 xp per enemy instead of (enemy level * 100)

Start on floor 15 (use this only in combination with AoB #2, otherwise you will be killed with 2 hits)

Hack strength (as mentioned above, all values are doubles) so is doesn't take too long to kill an enemy.

Bosses are easy to kill (can't be used in combination with AoB #2)

IMO, it's much easier to just hack the points you get from leveling up. (Easier to do it early, or with the AoB above)
You could easily just add however many points you want and then apply them to the stats. Searching by stats would mean searching for more than one address.

But that's just me.

You could also change your stats (strength, stamina, willpower, armor... etc) at the character selection screen using double*1, and start out strong.  (broken image removed)
