I'm improving the SEO of the site!  Part of this is adding keywords and descriptions to forums!  The system already supports descriptions, and I've just added in keywords.

Soooo, anyone have some ideas for keywords / descriptions for each of the forums?  Don't be afraid of using the same keywords on all of the gaming forums for example.  :P

Security really has a few holes in it, it seems... Luckilly those are used for small pranks and banning chat admins from the chat (including accidental self bans from VxD), instead of anything like the kadat auth key incident...

The chat system is completely independent of the website.  The only "integration" there is between the chat and the site is user level authentication, that only fires when you login.  I can't determine ACL from the login script, so that's moot, nor can I ban/unban from chat based on the login script.  The most I could do is disable you from connecting at auth time.

As far as the current "security" holes go, they are only related to mods being able to edit anything.  The good news is that I'm maintaining historical data and when I have a few hours of solid programming time, I'll build a history viewer / rollback tool.

I also need to build an alternative thread view that shows deleted posts, as well as an alternative forum view that displays deleted topics.
