owned the game but not yet played due to lots of bad reps about current Diablo 3 that are too cheapskate, etc, etc lol. Plus from the screenshot pics not so appealing ATM which leads me to hammer state of decay and impire.

The game has vastly improved and is actually fun if you play with a friend or two. The only downside right now is that they are making high level gems and legendaries bound to account which prevents anybody from trading. The Legendaries has an exception though, if you're playing with someone while you find a Legendary item (equip/weapon) you have 2 hours from the minute you pick it up to trade it before it becomes bound to your account.

Played it on the Ps3 with a friend of mine. pretty fun depending on who you play with. not exactly an amazing game by any stretch, though.

Yes, and the game definitely improved a lot after the expansion. I think it had more to do with the patches up to the release of the expansion than the expansion itself. However, the game is still nowhere near as good as Path of Exile IMO. But I guess comparing junk food to gourmet isn't really fair; they're both good on occasion.

Hardcore is also far better in D3 now than back in 2012. Just make sure your connection is stable.

I got really bored of the game before the expansion came out. Now that it did, I really enjoy it. I think that the new bounties and exploration quests are just what the game needed. Also, removing the auction house was a great idea, as I felt like I had to grind gold to get good gear, now I just farm mobs for paragon levels and to try and get better drops and I use all my gold to make better gems. The only thing that I don't like is that you can't play your PC characters on the consoles and you can't play with your friends who have a different system than the one you are playing on. Currently, I am working at getting one character of each class to the end of the game so that when I get bored with one class, I can farm paragon levels and legendary gear with a different character.

As soon as it came out I bought it, as I played and loved Diablo II. It's definitely not as good, but still much fun. By the time I had gotten past the Nightmare tier I started to get bored though. The same history, same dialogue, same quests, it was like doing the game over and over again. While I'm a big achievment maniac eventually I got tired of nothing new coming so I quit playing. I've heard the new expansion's good though so thinking of buying it and going into the game again. It's been maybe a year since I last played so hopefully it won't be as boring as it was then.

Same here i did like it but the replay value wasnt that good at all.
Got bored pretty quick. replay > reward wasnt worth the time in my opinion.
I did have fun playing it for a bit!

I'm playing Diablo 3 at the moment, but I primarily play online with a few of my friends. The game gets boring quickly if you are soloing. However, party makes it fun when we are all level 70 and are farming the higher difficulty rifts together.

Used to play the hell out of it before and right after the expension with a bunch of friends, used to hang around rift 27/30 most of the time. Used to play a firebird wizard or a marauder hunter (still unsure about the modification they made about it, less boring yeah but was fun standing there watching mobs being mauled by your turrets)
Sadly most of them moved onto other games, so as other said, soloing isn't as fun :/

Already bored by this game. Maybe it's caused by my age, I'm getting old and I quickly become bored by power-grinding-needed RPG. LOL
