I don't use proxy, but as the others have said. The internet provider probably provides the same IP Loop here too. So I'm honestly not sure as how to prevent this. Any ideas?

Honestly, nope.  If your ISP's shit, there's nothing anyone can do about it.  The IP log has been dumped, so it should clear up all of those connections, but I don't forsee it staying clean for long.

On a positive note, I'm going to start installing stuff to better handle IPv6, and when I'm confiden it's working, I'll switch all of our servers over. IPv6 through DO is very easy , but our code has to be able to handle it.

what about the 40% of the world that doesnt even know ipv6 exists. i doubt my ISP (verizon) gives me an ipv6 address because it sucks ass. itd probably be the same as my normal ip with a bunch of 0's tacked onto the beginning. and that isnt exactly "unique" like an ipv6 ip should be. a lot of the ban problems with proxies and whatnot will still happen until ipv6 becomes standard.

it'll be good to be able to support it. im all for that. but i wouldnt switch us over to ONLY ipv6. traffic and members would drop hard.

There are tons of concerns why people use open proxies. One of them is stupid erroneous RBL that blocks regular IP because this RBL works well only with few well known providers in certain countries.
Isn't good captcha a great protection?

lmfao, what does a captcha have to do with banning anyone?  Captcha doesn't solve shit bro.

Blocks ability to register for bots. Anyway this barracuda RBL bans regular internet providers, so people use open proxies.
If you mean ability to ban some bad guy, it may not help, if he is so bad he probably has private proxies, not public shit that regular users like me use.

My best suggestion to you is to quit while you're ahead.  You're still missing the point.

Loose talk. I just wanted to say, that barracuda RBL blocks regular internet providers, so there is no other way to register for users like me except to use open proxy.

That makes more sense.  Not going to change it since it has blocked a massive number of spammers.

It blocks bots bots that haven't wound up on a blacklist yet.  The only captcha we have is during registration.

I use a VPN at work, Private Internet Access to be specific.  I figured it shared IPs with many others.  I'll go to konghack naked then :).

Are you asking, "Is the fact that I'm using a vpn/proxy the reason that I'm getting this error?" If so, you can answer that question yourself by simply NOT using a vpn/proxy and trying to log in to the trainer. If you are using a vpn/proxy, I hope you've read the first post of this thread and are willing to accept the potential consequences if it's a public one...
