Since the game is literally impossible to get anywhere in at the moment, I've been trying to cut down on the waiting for hobbies and jobs. Jobs are easy enough to hack--they work exactly as submitted--but hobbies can be reduced to two values. One, when edited, immediately reverts. The other either does nothing if reduced, or if increased sets the timer as infinite and doesn't change the actual level. No problem, then, I tried to find the time remaining/counter.

I had no luck at finding that, either. Can anyone please help with what I'm missing?

With 'setting the timer as infinite', do you mean that it just says 0 minutes 0 seconds? If so, then it's actually working as intended. After increasing your hobby levels, you just need to click around and wait a bit. You know it worked by checking the job screen to see if there are checkmarks near the jobs you're missing, or the game tells you that you unlocked either a new girl or a new job.

An useful tip: each hobby level is separated by either a +4 or -4 modifier in the address. (Like going from, say, 80000000 to 80000004 or 7FFFFFFC), so you can easily get hobby levels that way.

The game feels a lot like a beta im sure when updates come out it will be easier to complete. I have been playing legit with barely any progress made so for right now i would say its not worth it till the dev does some rebalancing.

0 minutes 0 seconds is exactly what was happening. I thought that meant it had done nothing at all... particularly since the little indicator for the level resolutely stayed at, generally, 2, maybe 3.

it is quite a common scenario. Imagine you have a struct with a first name and a last name. Now if you wanted to get the full name would you store it there too? No, you would retrieve it as a function of the two(in this case a union).

Didn't dig deep with this game but my sixth sense tells me a lot of shown values are functions of the time spent doing them. Function in the mathematical sense

I posted a little tutorial with the hack submission: Search for the bonus multiplier (its float *1, not double) on a new game (it starts as 1.0), play a bit, and reset, and search the new multiplier. Then step it up 10x at a time.

Do not go above 100000 multiplier when jobs are active. If the time to complete a task gets too short, it will crash. Once you have all hobbies unlocked, get them all to the same level, and then step it up 10x at a time (from 1E10 to 1E11 to 1E12 etc) so the time to complete them never gets too short. I got up to ~100 hobby level before stopping, to unlock all the jobs.

If you do this, you can complete almost everything in the game except for getting the final girl to lover status: for that, you have to work as a love guru, and that takes 500 time blocks currently. I couldn't find an easy way to add time blocks or add diamonds to buy time blocks with (10 diamonds gets you 1 block). Completing every achievement won't give you anywhere near this.

Can confirm, despite the lack of change in the display, it still acts as if you have the new (higher) skill value.

I cannot find the right adress for the multiplier. I've hard reset the game several times now (because it gets harder to up the multiplier) and i'm having some real trouble, can you post the right adress or something? (also i'm new)

The address changes every time you reload the game.

After the first soft reset I was at I think 2.7. I believe there were 4 options for me at the time, I just tried them all one by one until I got the right one. You have to leave the stats page and re-enter it to see if the multiplier updated, it doesn't update the text until you leave the page and re-enter it.

The multiplier works,i had 1.0 then resseted and just entered NEW EXACT amount and pressed NEXT Scan, then it worked, don't forget to use the flat number function too,not the 4-bit one.

I just tested it on a fresh game, since its been updated, and its still working for me. I'll break it down step by step. Note that I'm using Chrome x64. It may actually be double on firefox, I don't use firefox though so I haven't tried that, who knows. I'll post a basic guide, you should really check another thread for a better guide and actually learn cheat engine though.

First, load a new game in one tab, and get past the first cutscene. Then, while its running, open a new tab (ctrl-t) and enter into your url bar about:memory and hit enter (no http or anything, just type it in to the bar exactly like that, about:memory - it will load chrome://memory-redirect , but about:memory is easier to remember and type )

Look at the list of processes, one will say Play Crush Crush. You need the Process ID number of that process.

For me this is 11640. You can close the memory tab now, but do not close the game tab; if you do, you'll have to start over.

We need to convert this to hex, so open up calculator and go to programmer mode (or use a web-tool, or do the math in your head!)

For me the hex address of the process is 2d78.

I open up Cheat Engine 6.5 x64, and select this from the process list.

I now change the search type to float, and enter 1.0 and press first scan. This gives me a list of all the addresses that have the float value 1.0. You can press next scan a couple times if you want to shave off a handful of addresses, but its not necessary.

At this point, I play the game for a couple minutes, until I unlock the 3 hobbies with tech-savvy and motivation skills, and make sure every skill has been trained at least once. The next two girls unlock. At this point, if you go to the stats tab, you will notice that on reset, you gain .7 multiplier. I press reset, and after going to the stats page, I confirm the multiplier is 1.7 (make sure you confirm the new multiplier by going to the stats page, since it could be off by .1 due to rounding).

I enter the new value into cheat engine, and hit next scan. I have one result, but in the past I've had as many as 4 - if you have more than one, try them one by one.

I change the value to 100.

I then go to the game, switch to the hobbies tab, and back to the stats tab, to update the text (it won't update right away, make sure you switch off of the stats page and back to it). The multiplier is now 100.

You can keep editing it at this point if you want, I just used 100 as an example. Follow my previous advice about not setting it too high all at once, because if the completion time for a job or hobby gets too fast, it will crash.

edit: Also, if its not working, try setting the search to use rounding instead of truncating, since I've had resets where it was 2.65 and showed up as 2.7; searching 2.7 with truncating won't work, with rounding it will.

Float *1 just means leave the value unchanged (multiply it by 1). For some flash games, the value is saved as things like 4 bytes *8 + 6, which means you search for a 4 byte integer, and if the value you want is 100, you search for 100*8+6, which is 806. So I put *1 to make it clear its saved as the actual value, not in some sort of encoded format.

I don't understand very well, i need to search the value but won't change because is x1... it's right?

Yes, search for the value exactly as is. Switch it from truncated to rounding if you're having trouble finding it.
