Guys looking at the present state of the game i think we dont have to worry about security risks.
That might be bold, but I will hold on to it.
Ill try this paros out now. Never heard of it prly isnt blacklisted.

EDIT instead of double post please.

Get Paros from HERE

Install it and configure it.

Open firefox, go into the network connections, set it up to point to the localhost proxy, and watch the post/get data roll in. I haven't tested it on Window 7 x64 (yet), but it worked amazingly on XP.

You may need to update/install Java Virtual Machine on your system. Just install the Java JRE, as I think it's all rolled into one now.

I did, the problem is that w7's sys32 has some special parameters that sometimes fuck up "older" programs.
Also the new java either doesnt have javaw.exe or its been renamed, or its hidden from administrator account.
EDIT: Pan server seems to be dowm

Edit II.:

-Ac tools works, u can write scrips to atumate the game, so u dont have to spend you life at it. There are a couple of farming scripts written simply search google.
-http://heroesofgaia.wikia.com/wiki/Bugs <- "The reward description would state different items compared to the ones actually received from the system notice." This might be more than meets the eye. It could mean that the server-client communication is shit, which is good for us pocket guys.

I'm still looking for a pocket editor that works unde w7. Also think people! Do you think that you will be brought ot a jury cuz of hacking THIS? Seriously u are over-important about yourselves. U could only get banned from the game, which i think is not a big problem.

Also I present you a challange: Whoever can provide us with more than macros will get something. I dunno what yet. Anyhow bottom line is: some1 give me a working pocket editor.

If it helps anyone, I've found links to some Macro's that I believe may help.

Exercise restraint, don't get banned.

I really couldn't care less about my karma, it can't hurt me, now as to who I am, I don't believe that's any of your concern, however, what's of your concern is that I know your guild and location, as well as the fact that a simple meeting with a GM can have your accounts shut down and your IP addresses banned, along with screenshotted proof of this forum, and the post about your guild, location, and IP Address on HoG, so I can infer that you aren't in the situation to be interrogating me about my identity, or attempting to reach my superior. Now on to business, yes, I realize that this game is server-sided; I assumed from your conversation that the Paros software could be used to edit information sent from between servers, If this is true, then my threat is effective in light of the fact that using that software makes you a threat to their game, thus going to one of them and saying this and that would effectively get you screwed. If it isn't however, I'm simply wasting my time and should take my operations elsewhere. One way or another, not giving me the answer I want to hear WILL result in consequences on the other side. I leave this choice to you, tell me everything, or have your IP address banned along with your little buddies. Your choice.

Let's have some fun.

Apparently this guy thinks he has my IP too! Anyway, he wants to get all of us banned on Kongregate and from HoG, lol. If anyone is up for it, we should h4x0rz him. (broken image removed)

Well then, it appears as if this entire interrogation was a simple waste of time and that you just alerted yourself to 5 other agents on this site, congrats. Seeing that this program can no longer serve my purpose, I shall notify my superior to uninstall it from his system immediately. As for you, you don't seem to possess any further information that I need, so my business with you is concluded, good-day, Mr. Ignorant, IP Address: 216.97.230.65, Mozilla Firefox. It's been a pleasant conversation. :|

He apparently thinks you can hack Heroes of Gaia using Paros Proxy, and that if I don't tell him how to do it, he will ban all of us.

Since I nailed his IP and threw the info back in his face, he decided to take on another persona when messaging me. I have even contacted his ISP in regards to his DDoS attack on my servers, and they are not pleased. Being nice on the phone for 10 minutes can get you a lot of information.

I am heading out for a while with the laptop. I'll draft up a nice letter, present my case, and we'll see how things go. All I know is that in the US, DDoS attacks are dealt with fairly quickly and painfully. Triple B has been lonely and needs a friend... That's Big Black Bubba for those who don't know. so much lol. I really don't get how ppl get so agitated over something as simple as a game. I mean, it's not like we're accessing premium content for free (idk about inviting yourself). If he/she was the developer, I'm sure a more appropriate action would have been contacting KH.

Umm... he was butthurt because he didn't get hax, so he was going to snitch on us (even when the developers of Heroes of Gaia nor Kongregate have no authority of getting our IP for that reason, and we don't even use our Kong usernames on KH) about us haxing his game because he didn't get hax?

Idiots these days, this deserves a *triple facepalm limited edition*.

Back on topic, eh?

To get back on topic, there are no known hacks for this game. It's so horribly unstable as it is, testing any form of hacking method renders the game useless and has crashed FF several times over.

I have been horribly unsuccessful in testing anything and everything I know how to. I have since stopped testing after corrupting my firefox install. Thankfully, I run all tests on a virtual machine that is tied straight into a VPN from over seas.
