the game is bugged on the Defiance level. You wont get passed it until he fixes it. You know what i did? I looked at the swf for the images that are clickable, and got the answers lol no AoB's... quickly got up to Defiance but couldnt get past that.

yes, because he fixed the bug. You can use walkthrough, some levels are too frustrating, so click a lot, no penalties for clicking

Badge. Couldnt find Derek's find one difference AOB to beat level. Code must have changed. Didnt feel like decompiling. Seems to work as intended.

Changed it to

2c ?? 03 14 04 00 00
2c ?? 03 14 00 00 00

Change all. Takes no time to finish game.

I dunno why, but I like these difference games a lot. Quite calming imo. I'm also a fan of the other difference games series. You know, the fantasy ones

I liked the other tow in the series, this one was pretty shit. Minute little details change and the backgrounds aren't as interesting.
I know the series you mean as well, very fun on the whole.

If I remember correctly I changed the loading code for the background plane sound of the first level into the kong API function call for game completion.

In the other one, there was loop through a series of stats to send, which sent a value of 1 if completed, and 0 if not. I just hardcoded a 'pushbyte 1' for the second parameter, forcing it to send completion on everything.
