Yes this is easier but more then less it will corrupt it and 1 day later it will be gone.

I ran my sol editted character for almost a week without issues. Are you playing multiple characters at the same time? It does state in the log-in screen that doing so may cause corruption of save files.

nope, i sol edited one of my characters last week. came back 1 day later all my characters were wiped yet the sol files were still there.

Maybe due to a major update by the developer changing how the sol files are read. Try creating a new char and see what happens with the sols.

Ohh i ended up just using cheat engine and changing stats and hp and going to naxx leaving it overnight on x10 speed. (broken image removed) have lvl 85 in every slot.

It seems the talent lv not reset to 10 if higher when loaded from save, if the code actived.
Use ctrl-click to added 10 talent points fast.
