The newest version of firefox blocks mixed content.  Therefore, the site is in HTTPS so the chat (I am assuming is http) is being blocked.  You will have to click on the shield in the address bar and disable protection of mixed content for konghack if you want to use the chat.

Just in case anyone was wondering!
