It's serversided. If you beat a level under 5 seconds, no matter if you do it legal or with hacks, you die.

I see. I guess if you're fast enough you can dodge the hole when the round starts.

A technique that would help you out is to hold either A or D before the round starts. People who go for firsts always do this. There are risks while holding down left or right as if your slow as hell youll fall off the edge and die. I used to do this with the cheese hack when the 8 second rule was around.

Cheesehack only lets me get the cheese anywhere vertically. Some maps will instakill (broken image removed)
