Anyone found xml edits that will work in pvp? They work just fine in pve, but any change causes CVE in pvp.

Today I was doing some tests, but none gave me results, I'll keep trying.

Charles SSL Proxying Installation for MAA
*************************************************

1) Download and Install Charles

2) Install Charles Certificate for FireFox or Chrome

If FireFox:

Open Charles and go to Proxy -> Mozilla Firefox Proxy from the toolbar, and click Install. And then restart Firefox.
But if it doesn't work, you can install the Firefox add-on for Charles from this link:
http://www.charlesproxy.com/charles.xpi

If Chrome:

Open Chrome
Go to Options -> Settings from the toolbar.
Click 'Show advanced Settings...'
Navigate down to 'HTTPS/SSL' and click 'Manage certificates...'

Go to the 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities' from the submenu.
Click Import
When it asks you what file to import:
Find 'charles-proxy-ssl-proxying-certificate.crt' and import it.
(( The file can be found from C:\Program Files (x86)\Charles\doc (or wherever you installed Charles) ))

3) Enable SSL Proxying for MAA:

Open Charles
Go to Proxy -> Proxy Settings...
On Proxy Settings, click 'SSL' from the submenu.
Check 'Enable SSL Proxying'

and then in the 'Locations' area, click 'Add' and add these Hosts:

*.playdom.com
*.akamaihd.net

(just leave 'Port:' blank)

Now, you are done.

HI! Can you help me fix this on Charles?
I only get Unknown. Also, when I add the playdom and *.akamaihd.net on the SSL locations, the Facebook page gets screwed up and won't load properly.
I'm using Firefox and have installed the Charles Certificate.
I'm also using Charles 3.10.1.

Tried using that also and I can't find any certificate to install on my Charles folder. tried searching my whole PC for the charles-proxy-ssl-proxying-certificate.crt but can't find that file.
And now my MAA won't load anymore on Firefox. Damn!
I only get to the Gift screen and aftersending one, it just shows a blank page?
Any ideas on what's going on?

way better to use chrome imo

Here's the chrome method

Easy fix.... It happened to me the first time because I messed up on the xml part where I changed the ab.xml instead of client.xml

what you wanna do is go to your tools>map local>?
?= If there is anything there remove it.

For certificate go to help>ssl proxy>save certificate
Save the certificate where you can find it extremely easy, (tip: save it on your desktop)

Go to your chrome, go to settings>Advanced Settings> Manage Certificates
Find the certificate you installed/saved in your desktop.

Clear cache

Open browser
Open Charles
Open MAA

At charles you want to find:
maa*-a.akamaihd.net

where * is some random number

once foundd just open up folders until you get to the xml portion.
Change anything you want to change respectively (download things here given by other users)
right click client.xml > Map local > ?

? = Locate your downloaded client.xml from other users and use it as a LocalPath

Clear Cache

refresh browser/open maa again

Thanks for the info Silentbladez. I tried what you have suggested but I was still not able to get in working in Firefox and Chrome.
I have even uninstalled my Charles and replaced with a later version of 3.8.3 but it still won't do anything.
On Firefox, it still messes my Facebook page and I can't load MAA.
On Chrome, it won't detect any Sessions when  I run Charles and open FB and MMA.
I have successfully imported the certificate but it still won't do anything on Charles using Chrome.

you are looking in the wrong place.
any files are likely to be under a "https://maa*-a.akamaihd.net" folder.
the * represents a number, different for each user.

looks like you have your focused hosts set to only playdom.com karanka..

try looking under view > focused hosts.. an make sure it list the following two addresses in it..

*.playdom.com
*.akamaihd.net

if not then click add an use "https" protocol.. an leave the port section blank.. an paste those two addresses into it.. then it should now show you the right links you are looking for as mentioned by kirbyonwarpstar an others through out this tread now..

I hope this helps you to get things working right.. also there is MANY post already made giving tips an advice on fixing many problems people have been having getting setup.. that might also help get you heading further along also.. truth be told it was many of those posts that got me up an running as well.. lol.. again hope this bit of advice helps you out as well.. best of luck..
