It was working yesterday and internet and computer have not been messed with since then. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

this looks for all the world like a proxy or firewall error. 

perhaps you are running a tor or charles web debugging proxy or fiddler or proxomitron or some sort of tar pit maybe?

try disabling your software thats like what ive mentioned.

You might have connectivity issues, that message is often caused by an unstable connection.
