What about using another player as support? I mean, you mess the values and increase whatever you need (like resources) then before the 6 minutes you transfer to another city all the ghost amounts.. That city will "legitimately" recieve something and you'll be reset later.. i hope i'm not saying a bullshit..

Yeah, I think they perform the check when you try to transfer things. If you somehow manage to disable this specific check(by disabling this particular binding) I think you'd be able to succeed

The only time I've seen a hack like this was for a server-sided facebook game (I forgot the name). Derek made the hack for that game so he basically knows how to do that. Does anyone know how to change a constant via AoB? Not something in the constant pool, since we're talking AS3 here. I've been trying lots of things to break this game, and one of those things involves me altering a constant.
EDIT: Well, my most recent attempt is to make all buildings inta-finish-able. Insta-finish-able buildings are the ones that take less than 5 minutes to upgrade/build. I tried altering the if statement, but nothing happened. Then I tried altering the constante that limits the maximum time a building takes to be upgraded so it can be insta-finished. Given that I don't know how to do such, I couldn't actually try this one. After that I tried altering the client sided rules for the building upgrades, so I change my rectorate upgrade time from level1->level2 to under 4 minutes. I thought I'd gotten a cookie, 'cause I got the pop-up thingy telling I'd been blessed, blablabla and my building had been insta-finished. But the upgrade timer was still counting down and my rectorate was still level1. If someone *cough*Derek/deity/praetor/anyone better than me*cough could shed some on light on this, I'd be grateful xD |

I also want to point something out here. The servers located here: Caesary.net are different than the ones on kongregate.. as in some of the older hacks work still on there. BUT I am not sure which ones work on which servers... the unit one doesnt seem to work on B2 but on B1 it does. and idk how to do the tax one so i cant check that one...

Also, if anyone is interested in somehow breaking the goat spin, search for Rolette. I still couldn't make something useful out of it, though. All I could was making the game sort of freeze when I tried spinning it with no goats.
EDIT: From all I've been testing, it seems that whenever I change something on the code the server doesn't process any of the actions. Would that be bypass-able? |
