Chapter 3 - Start Hacking

INTRODUCTION

Hello, Dear User of Kong Hack. Tsumi here.

After so many people asking "What do I do with this Value*8 Hack?", "What is a _level0/:PlayerGold?", "How do I use CE?", and the many other generic questions that you can think of, I've decided that our "New Users: Read This FAQ/CHEAT ENGINE TUTORIAL" isn't working as good as I had hoped it would when I suggested it to be made Global. Now where is the problem? I was asking myself when it hit me: it's because people don't read it! I'm such a Genius! No, seriously, I'm not a Genius for getting that right. Things must be more serious than that. I've decided to review all our "Tutorial" Section inside the "Resources" and I want to compile it all in one big ass "How to hack Flash 101", having all the sort of answers, from the most stupid questions to those asked by people who want to learn how to hack.
I will begin it with the most basic of all and as you read this you will come to understand a lot of what there is to hacking Flash Games, Unity Games, and even, hopefully, HTML5 Games, which right now isn't added but that, as they get more popular, will hopefully have tutorials added to them.
Also, while you're here, I'd like to extend my thanks to everyone who has helped me doing this tut: Gates, Thenewcomer, The Ignorant Masses, Kingoffunk, Master_X, Darkfreddy11 and everyone else whose names I haven't mentioned but that, nonetheless, have helped me in doing this.
(If you'd like to have your name here, please let me know, or just go and edit it yourself and take the credits for yourself you shameless mods :p)

Chapter 1 Using Hacks

1- CHEAT ENGINE AND THE BLESSING OF GOD

OK, so you got frustrated while playing that game and decided that the best thing to do now is to break all the rules of the game and make your own rules. You ask your friend Google for Hacks for that game and you get redirected to this site. Congratulations my friend, you've come to The Best, if not, one of the best, community and repository of Flash Game Cheats out there. But you don't know what to do with all the funky "Value*1 (4 Byte)" stuff, and worse of all, what to do with it!
Despair not. God, in all his wisdom, decided that a guy nicknamed Dark Byte should create a program that would allow all people on Windows to be able to break the rules of all the games out there. The name of this program? Cheat Engine.
The first thing you should do right now is to download this magical program. You can download it HERE. There should be a magical button named DOWNLOAD CHEAT ENGINE, kind of hard to miss it.
This program should become your best friend from now on (Maybe even your lover if you're a hardcore gamer). That's how important this program is. I, however, won't teach you everything that you can do with it, that's something that not even I know. The program can do so many things that no single tutorial out there can teach you that much. However, you will learn everything you need in order to effectively use this site and, as such, I URGE you to continue reading this tutorial. Also, there is a very good tutorial in the program itself! I recommend that 9 out of 10 people should go through it.

1.1 Attaching the Program to the Right Process

The first thing you have to do once you have installed Cheat Engine and want to start hacking a game is to ATTACH it to the right PROCESS. This is VERY IMPORTANT. To finding the right process is simple, however, if not done right, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO HACK THE GAME.

1.1.2 Finding the Right Process

Depending on the Internet Browser you decide to use, things may be very simple, Firefox, or very annoying, Chrome. We will get started with the tricky one, Chrome. You may not know right now, but Chrome uses and abuses of multithreading. Meaning? It means that it runs as if it were many programs at the same time. Because of this it runs faster than it would have been possible without it, but it also means that it can be tricky to find the correct program if you wish to hack a game while running Chrome. Thre are 2 ways of finding the right process. One 100% accurate, the other isn't.
To find the right process in CHROME always:

1- Press SHIFT ESC to open the Chrome Task Manager
2- Check the Process ID collum and write down the number
Flash
Unity
HTML5
3- Open the WINDOWS CALCULATOR on the PROGRAMMER or SCIENTIFIC OPTION
4- Convert the NUMBER to HEXADECIMAL

5- Attach Cheat Engine to the process with this number

Another way to find the right process, not 100% accurate:

1- Open the Task Manager (Control + Shift + ESC) or (Alt + Control + DEL)
2- Go to Processes
3- Click on View and Select Colums
4- Enable the PID option, first box
5- Arrange the Process by order of MEMORY
6- Check the number of the process associated with your browser that has the most used memory (Or check the process name in case it is a plugin based process. In the picture here it most likely is not the correct process).

As you can see, things aren't that complicated once you have the things set. After making your Task Manager show you the PID, it will keep showing it until you decide to hide it. So once you've set it, you're good for life.
Because Internet Explorer isn't so used anymore, or I believe it isn't, I won't make a separate Session for it. It should be sufficient to know that to find the right process with Internet explorer works very much like finding the one for Chrome, except that Flash has it's own process thread. So check the list below, it brings all the processes you should look for, on whichever browser you're using.

    1.1.1.1 Flash

INTERNET EXPLORER: FlashUtilXX (32 or 64)
FIREFOX: FlashPlayerPlugin (Usually the Second Process)
CHROME: chrome.exe

DarkFreddy11 was kind enough to share with us his awesome video-tutorial about Chrome!

Chrome Video Tutorial

1.1.1.2 Unity

INTERNET EXPLORER: iexplore.exe
FIREFOX: Plugin-Container.exe (Usually the Second Process)
CHROME: chrome.exe

1.1.1.3 HTML5

INTERNET EXPLORER: iexplore.exe
FIREFOX: firefox.exe
CHROME: chrome.exe

1.2 Using the Hacks

Now that you know how to attach Cheat Engine to the correct process, we should be able to go to the real hacking. Please, if you didn't understand how the attaching is done, DO NOT PROCEED. You should go back and try to understand how to attach Cheat Engine to the correct process. Without it, there's no hope of ever making any of the hacks currently provided on this site to work.
The most basic of all hacks, and often the most used hacks as well, are the Value hacks. What is a value? It's just a number. So you want to hack your Hp, Money, or Ammo, this is, most likely, the first thing that those who hack games do. In flash, values are usually stored in two ways: as BYTES or as FLOAT/DOUBLE. From times to times, however, you may need to search for a ROOT VARIABLE. Lastly, there is a way to CHANGE the way that a game works. To use this, you first need to have an ARRAY OF BYTE, or AoB. To find these, however, is not so simple, and you'll need to have at least some understanding of how Action Script works.

    1.2.1 Value Hacks

Most of your time will be spent looking for values when you want to hack a game. It's very simple to do, can be done at almost any time of the game, as well as there's very small chance that this kind of hack will ever be patched, the reason being that every game has to store some kind of data for it to access, as well for it to show you, and to change this would require a considerable change in how the game works, which is most of the times not interesting for the people who make games.
Because of it's high versatility, many of you will prefer this kind of hack over the ones that make changes in how the games work. However, this kind of Hack also has its drawbacks, which you will become aware as you start to hack more and more games. So don't disconsider the other kind of hacks.

    1.2.1.1 Bytes

Computers as we know use Bytes to store the values that you want to know. It should always be the first thing that you try when you're looking for hack. When looking for values stored in bytes, the typical way of finding them is by SETTING the SCAN TYPE to 4 Bytes (Which is also the scan type that Cheat Engine starts) and inputing the VALUE in one of the 3 FORMS described bellow:

Setting Scan Type to 4 Bytes
  1. VALUE*1: The value you're looking for multiplied by 1, which is just the VALUE you're looking for.
  2. VALUE*8: The value you're looking for multiplied by 8
  3. VALUE*8+6: The value you're looking for multiplied by 8 and later added by 6.

Why are there 3 ways of looking for values? Because most people won't realize that the value they're looking for was multiplied by something, or added by something, and will discard these values. This is called OBFUSCATION, when they try to make things harder to understand, or hide things.

    1.2.1.2 Float and Double

From times to times, people will need to store numbers that have decimals, or numbers that aren't whole. As such, they'll use Float or Double, which allow for numbers that aren't whole. If you know the number is not whole, you can fill this part with all of it's decimals, but Cheat Engine is set so that it will look for these parts automatically.

1. Set the VALUE TYPE to either FLOAT or to DOUBLE

    2. Search for the VALUE

Most of the time, there will be no obfuscation here, but you might find games that do have it, but if you've found the hack on the database then it will have already told you about it, so no need for worrying.

1.2.2 Root Variable

Will be available in a later version of this tutorial.

1.2.3 Array of Byte

Sometimes it is not enough being able to have 999 of HP, or having 999999999 of Gold, you have to avoid all the projectiles on screen, or you want to be able to kill all monsters in one hit. This is accomplished by changing how the games work, which is done by using Array of Byte. Everytime you see a sequence of numbers displayed by the pairs, D0 D0 66 44 33 A1, with another sequence of numbers, either beneath it or linked with arrows or w/e they decide it to be, you have an Array of Bytes.

The first thing you have to do to use these is to ALWAYS INPUT THEM BEFORE YOU START PLAYING THE GAME.
Sometimes you may need to FREEZE THE PROCESS with the SPEEDHACK by setting the speed to 0 and APPLYING IT.

1. Set VALUE TYPE to ARRAY OF BYTE

    2. Search for the FIRST array
    3. Change the result to the SECOND array

That's it. Your game will now behave in a different form than before. This is a lot harder to do than just altering the value of something. Also, because this type of hack involves changes on the code of the game, they may become obsolete, or not work, once the game has been updated. If that is the case, go to the forums and post on the game thread that the AoB is not working. It might take some time, but the one who made the AoB will probably fix it, or someone else will try to have a look at it and make a new one for you. BUT ASK IN A CORRECT AND POLITE WAY, no one has the obligation of giving you hacks.

1.2.4 Auto Assembly Script

Hello, TNC here, and ill be the one guiding you through this autoassembly guide right here! Alright, since this portion is only about using the hacks, i will show you how to use them properly.
Alright, just like when you hack any game, you will need to have the game open, and cheat engine attached to the correct process. Next you need to copy the auto assembly script. the beginning of the script always starts with [ENABLE] so copy all the way down to where it says [DISABLE] or further if there is anything below it. Now go into cheat engine and press ctrl+alt A, or you can navigate to the auto assembler manually by clicking the memory view button, going to tools, and clicking Auto Assemble.
Now, paste the entire code into the auto assembler and go to File, and Assign to current cheat table. This will put the hacks at the bottom of cheat engine so that you can activate it by clicking the freeze button to the left. If the script had something after the [DISABLE] portion, then you can also unfreeze it and it will go back to before the hack was applied.
And thats it! Congratulations, you just learned how to use AA scripts, and are now another step further on your hacking journey. Good Luck! ~Thenewcomer

2. SOL/.UPP FILES - BECAUSE IT'S EASIER TO HAVE OTHERS DO YOUR WORK

So, you've come across this game, and for some reason or another you don't feel like hacking it. Or, you want to start your game from a point not from the beginning. Then don't look any further and rejoice. You've just found the solution for that! .SOL/.UPP files are just the thing you need.
While this is not something that is really called a hack, this is the answer to all I said above. A .SOL/.UPP file are the extension name of files of Flash games and Unity games. It has all the information that a game that enables continious progress through different sessions. Just so you know, but FLASH uses .SOL file extension and Unity uses .UPP file extension.

2.1 Finding the Correct Location of the .SOL/.UPP File

The correct location of a .SOL/.UPP file varies with the OS you use as well as the Browser you use. Because of this, you'll need to know WHICH OS and WHICH BROWSER you use. If you don't know, then please, find out.
Also, I've decided to not put here the paths for other OS other than Windows. The reason? Because you're supposed to be using it! Now... seriously, unless someone asks, I won't put it here. So if you'd like to see it here, either for completion sake, or because you for some reason use it, please, let me know.

Chapter 2 - How to use KongHack

Hello dear KongHack user, and welcome to "KongHack - A tutorial for life" Section. Now that you have learned how to use the cheats you have found here, it's time for you to learn how to use the site! Some of you who are reading this might wonder, "Why did Tsumi leave this section as the second part and not the first?". The reason though is that people who find this tutorial will have already taken a few steps that I will describe later here. In other words, we have a lot more of people asking how to use a hack than people asking how to use the search function, which is a shame.

Userscript - Making Your Life Easier
    HackTab
    SolTab
    LinkTab
Forums - Because this Site has a Community
The things you should never forget
    Searching - Because there's a searching function
Forums and Sub-forums - Placing things on the right places
Feedback - TIM loves hearing your problems and about his screw ups (and your praises as well)
Bug tracker - Because we're too leet to have anything less
Getting Started - How to login
        Submitting something
        Following something
    Changing Sections
Badge-Hack - The best thing about using KongHack
    Downloading the best hack ever
Using it to do your shit
        Thanking Kadat
Chat - Where everyone gathers
    Using the chat
    Installing a 3rd Party Program
        Psi
        Pidgin
        Xabber

1. Forums - Because we have a Community

So now that you have finally registered and are ready to go, you find out that this forum isn't like other forums out there. And we're very proud of it in fact. But because of that, you're lost! Don't despair, Tsumi is here and will help you go through your initiation, and until you're ready to go to the adult's world (on this case, the Hacker's World) you can count on this tutorial.

1.1 Things you Should Never Forget

Hold your horses. Before you even start typing anything in the post box you should know a few rules that are more of the unspoken kind. You won't find them unless you search for them very well, and most of them are actually more Common Sense than anything else. Why do I have to say them before anything else? Because we here are very Ban-hammer-happy! We absolutely hate people who come to us and break these few rules that are worth more than gold.

    1. Thee Shall not Demand for that Thou Art not Entitled:
Don't EVER, EVER, demand something of someone. That's the easiest way of getting banned.
    2. Do not use any Internet Language form:
If this is your first time coming here, or you're not known, try to make yourself understood. Use appropriate English for the occasion, don't try to look like a smart ass nor superior to anyone. If you don't know English very well, make the most of what you do know and be polite.
    3. DON'T SHOUT YOUR WHOLE POST:
We are not idiots. We are not blind. We don't appreciate people who don't know that only a few millimetres separate those who are worth reading and those who aren't.
    4. Don't post links to Virus/Malicious Software, links to Surveys:
Seriously, who the fuck would want that? If you want to get banned, go ahead. You won't be missed.
    5. Don't make unnecessary spam:
Posting gives points, but it's so few points that you'd need 30 posts (at the time of this writing) to get the same amount of a hack. If you want points that bad, learn how to hack.
    6. Don't post fake Hacks nor submit Hack requests in the Hack submition:
In case you don't read the red box, you should read it here. DON'T DO THAT. YOU WILL GET YOUR HEAD "CHOPPED OFF" WITH THE BAN-HAMMER! And I won't shed a single tear for you.
    7. The Ignorant Masses is your Master and Lord. If The Ignorant Masses says something, you listen:
Do I need to say anything else? Go and read his sign. If you don't get it, then leave KH while you're still ahead of it.
    8. We love to teach people, just as much as we love people who know how to ask questions:
While you might not find always people who will teach you anything, if you know how to ask, people will answer your question. If you ask something stupid, you will get a stupid answer, and risk your account integrity.
    9. The Mods are just as vain as they come, but will help you just as much as their mood lets them:
People here are moody. Everyone. There's always a bad day for someone so don't risk it. If you get a "gtfo" or if you start talking shit about something a Mod doesn't like, expect to be hit hard. So tread carefully and watch your words.
    10. The Search is your master and lord. If you find something, read it and absorb it. If something is Bullshit, someone will have told them so.
If everyone knew how to use the Search button then we'd have 50% more users. Maybe more. You will hardly ever find a post saying something stupid without someone correcting it, the nice or the mean way. Only ever make a thread asking something that's been covered here if you want some clarification. Anything else will prob get you banned so hard you will be made the laughing stock of the day.
    11. The announcements are there to be read, not to make the screen bigger and harder to read.
Seriously, the Moderators and Administrators of the site spend their time writing things that they judge people should read. They also know that making too many announcements and too many stickies just make navigating the forums harder, so why not spend some time and actually read those topics? It might also help you not getting banned as important information is often disclosed in announcement topics.

1.2 Getting Started - Understanding Forum's Mechanics and the User Panel.

Now that you've learned ten ways of NOT getting banned, we can get serious. The first thing that we have to know when here on KongHack is how to navigate your own account menu and how to navigate the forums themselves. Don't be in a haste, everything should come with time, little Padawan.

1.2.1 Account - Everything Starts by Having an Identity.

By now you should be aware that you have the option to create an account (actually, to use our hacks you HAVE TO HAVE an account). It is very important that you learn how to use it to the fullest as this will save you a lot of time and trouble. We will now go through all (or almost all) of the functions that your account has and through all the benefits that having one gives you.

1.2.1.1 Drop-down Menus - User Menu and User Control Panel.

If you have not yet noticed beside your name there is an arrow pointing downwards. By clicking on this arrow you will see this drop-down menu. Here you will have access to various options to tweak your experience in this forum as well as have access to functions related to the forum.

(Insert Magical Screenshot here.)

Let us see what we can do here!

1.2.1.1.1 - My Profile - Because All of Us have Public Faces and Private Faces.

The first option we have here is very straight forward and there is very little to do here. Here you can see how others see you. There actually is nothing to do here other than be proud (or ashamed) of your contributions and of what you have told to us about yourself when you have registered.

1.2.1.1.2 My Contributions - Because you have done something for us (or not)

As an extension to the profile, here you will find everything that you have done so far in the forums. Be it hacks that you have submitted, posts (that you posted duh), reviews you have written, sols you have submitted or anything else.

1.2.1.1.3 Message - Because we like to send private messages to one another

Finally we got to a nice page! This page actually has a lot of things to explore, boys and girls. I don't even know where to start from! (J.K. I'm Tsumi, of course I know where to start from.)

(Insert magical screen-shot here)

Most of you probably won't have any messages in your message box (I'll call it that for convenience) unless you're already popular (And how I envy you) but let's use my message box as an example, it's brimming with messages! (not).
On the higher part we will find three important items: "Send PM", "In-box" and "Sent".

1.2.1.1.3.1 Send PM - Nagging your buddies

(Insert magical screen-shot here)

Of important here is that this looks almost exactly like the compose a message in the common forum part.
Other than choosing whom to send, which is located on the upper part, it's all the same as making a new thread.
Once again, I'll apologize that I'm not explaining the interface of the message composition, but I'm going to explain it all later when I'm dealing with posting on the normal forums.
Once you're done composing your message to your friend, all you have to do is scroll down and click the almighty button "Send PM".

1.2.1.1.3.2 In-box - Also known as homepage of Message Box

(Insert magical screen-shot example here)

This is the first page, again. Here you can see everything that has been sent to you. Of interest is that there is a Search function, in case you like having too many messages, as well as options for organizing your in box. By clicking on the "Show/hide columns" a small drop-bar menu will drop and you can check/uncheck what option you wish to see in the messages shown. You can also choose how many messages to display in a single page. In my case, I like to display the most messages at a single time, but that's a personal choice, so that's up to you.

1.2.1.1.3.3 Sent - Because having a history is always nice

(Insert magical screen-shot example here)

This is a copy of the previous page. The difference is that these are the messages that you have sent. Obviously this place works as a repository and a safe-keep for everything that you have said to others privately.

1.2.1.1.4 Shake - Badass feature

Ever felt like having a morale boost? Ever felt so lonely that you wanted someone to share your despair? Ever felt that blackpowers are really that power? Well, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR THAT!
If you ever feel the need for a motivation then click on this awesome button and get that much needed morale boost.
This also works as a badass place to share some laugh. Link all your friends here if you wanna share the meme.

1.2.1.1.5 Missing Badges - KongHack doing the dirty job of keeping track of what you don't have

This place only works after you have linked your Kongregate account with your KongHack one.
In case you have already done it, KongHack will show you everything that you still have to do in order to be one of those badasses (and almost all hackers of a kind or certificated no-lifers) who have CAUGHT THEM ALL! (Sorry for the 90s pun).

1.2.1.1.6 My Points - Everything you should worry about is here

That's right, boys and girls, WE HAVE POINTS! So, how many forums out there can boast that they have points? Bet you will now feel even more motivated to contribute to the forums, because sure I am!

(Insert magical screenshot showing points here)

But not everything is candy here. Most people have their accounts locked because they don't know things about points. So that you don't become one of them, I'll tell you almost everything there is to know about them:

1: You start an account with 100 points; (YAY!)
2: You lose 2 points every day; (Aww!)
3: You can earn points by participating on the community; (YAY!)
4: Your account will get locked if it ever reaches the mark of -100 points (Aww!)
5: There are ways of disabling this point deduction, and two of these are:
    a) Becoming a Donor, by donating and contributing to the expences that hosting a website generates. By doing this, you will never again have to worry about points being deduced from your account as well as gaining access to premium features. (YAY!)
    b) Becoming a L33TH4X, by contributing to the community, either submitting games reviews, hacks, posting and donations points (which are each dollar you donate). Each of these points have different weighs and the correct formula can be found on the "User Control Panel". You won't have any points deduced from your account for as long as you remain a L33TH4X! (YAY!)

How you earn points however depends on the type of contribution (You can this in the Point Store page)

    a) At registration you get 100 points to start losing;
    b) For every post you have you get 5 points + 0.005 points per character in the post (Meaning that I get huge points for every post because I love to write :p);
    c) Every new topic gets you 10 points just because you were cool enough to start something (please don't be dumb to start a topic that will get you banned);
    d) Just by participating in the chat with something will get you 0.1 points for each time you send something in the chat;
    e) Being a real hacker and contributing to the community will award you 150 points! (If you'd like to learn how to hack please read Chapter 3; also, this there will be changes in the way hacks are awarded points so pay attention to the announcements);
    f) Voting in a hack and helping the community know if a hack is useful or useless will award you with wooping 5 points;
    g) Sharing the love you have for a game and submitting it to the game database will award you even more wooping 25 points!, be it manually or automatically (though most of the games are automatically and there's no real way to submit it manually anymore);
    h) By sharing even more love to those who don't love the game as you and allow them to have your progress (be it for Flash, HTML5 or Unity games) will give you 100 points;
    i) If you want to be helpful and let others know your thoughts about a game, you can always submit a game Review. This will give you 50 points;
    j) Finally but even no less important (acutally it's the most important), if you share with the site your hard and sweaty income, you will get wooping (and i mean it for real) 500 points for every dollar! (So if you wanna be real supporter go and give KongHack your money!)

1.2.1.1.7 Points Store - Transforming those hard earned points into something useful (more likely useless)

Here you will have the option of spending those shines that you have accumulated through your hours since you have registered.
You can see here that there are several options for you to choose wasting your hard earned points.

(Insert Magical Screenshot here)

1.2.1.1.7.1 The lotto - Because a few of us believe in luck

(Insert Magical Screenshot here)

By spending 25 points you can get a single ticket of the lotto. You might notice that we have a few hardcore gamblers here on this site (most of them have so much points and little else to buy that they simply throw money in the lotto to fuel its flames).
The lotto works this way:
    a) For each ticket you have bought you have 1/x chance of winning (x is the total number of tickets in the pool).
    b) At the end of the period of betting, KongHack's Bot generates an array and shuffles it 5 times
    c) The number generated is then compared to the number of the ticket, if there is such number then you have a winner.
    d) If there is no winner then the points are kept in the pool so that by the next contest it will be given to the winner.

So if you believe in luck this is the way to get big wins with almost no effort! Go go for it! (Btw, I never bet.)

1.2.1.1.7.2 Inventory - Where your conquests are

The lower part of the Point store is the place where you will find all your items/conquests. All the items you have bough will be available for contemplation here.
It is also here where you will be able to interact with the items that allow such interactions. Presently there are only two items that have real functions: the Customize Title and the Customize Color.

    a) Customize Title: The name should tell you all that it does. After clicking on the "Change" button you will be able to change what your title is (that's the name that is shown behind your account name);
    b) Customize Color: After clicking in the "Change" button you will be able to choose the colour of your account name. Some people like to choose colours that are transparent or seem to be just for the lolz and make it somewhat impossible for people to distinguish who they are. But that's just childish play IMHO (sorry!).

1.2.1.1.7.3 Stuff to Buy! - Because we all love wasting points

(Insert Magical Screenshot here)

This is the place where you should be spending your points (or not). Here you will find a vast selection of useful (mostly useless actually) badge-like faces, memes and other sorts of animations of doubtful utility to make your user profile look good or bad. (One of the favourites of all times is the "Why u no have better itens, with Lol_wut having bought all of those when there wasn't a better selection of itens).

1.2.2 User Control Panel - Where things get personal

Having finally completed the first drop-down menu I can now welcome to the marvellous User Control Page!
This is the place where you have access to real functions and configurations of your account and site behaviour. You will also find that a few of the options here are repeated here so I'll just use the ones that I had already used before just for the sake of redundancy and in case something changes in the future.

(Insert magical screen-shot of the ucp here)

1.2.2.1 My Info - Because you have to tell something about yourself

Here are some very basic things that you have already told us when you have registered, however, you can always update it! Woot! Feeling like telling us again something we don't already know? This is the place to do that! Also, this is the place where you UPDATE YOUR EMAIL!!!! This is very important, because when an account doesn't have a valid e-mail anymore, it advertises it to everyone! Always make sure it's updated and fresh like a baby's bottom!

(Insert magical screen-shot here)

1.2.2.2 Avatar - Because an image is worth a thousand words

Not much to see here, just one big box that you can put an URL that will link to the avatar that you have chosen. But just because it's a very simple and basic page doesn't mean it's not important. Some people value more an avatar than their own usernames, so be extra careful when choosing an avatar. That's your public virtual (or real) face!

(Insert magical screen-shot here)

There are a few things that you should have in mind before you choose an avatar however:

    1. Don't choose any explicit (hardcore) porn images for your avatar. There are kids out there you know?
    2. Don't put any child porn there, both the hard and the soft kind. You know how illegal that is right? Don't even try it.
    3. Don't post anything extensively cruel. That means mutilated bodies, RAPE of animals, necrophilia... alternative forms of sex. You know, those kinds of things are things you better keep for a more mature discussion, and not for an open forum. We deal with hacking here. Gore is something we would rather not see here.
    4. If you going to use a QR Code as your avatar, make sure it doesn't link to any malware or virus, that's just going to get you banned. Or even if it's not a QR code, if your image is linked to a virus or malware, that will get you banned as well.

1.2.2.3 Signature - Because everyone likes to have something beneath their message that identifies them.

So you'd like to sign your message eh? Well, then this is the right place to come! Here you will find pretty much a postbox, and the difference is that this message will be posted beneath every message that you post, and every other ones that you have already posted as well.
Unfortunately, I will not teach you how to use all the resources of the postbox right here (Aww! :( ) but don't be dispirited. I will, however, tell you what is important to know here!

(Insert magical screen-shot here)

Like Avatars, signatures have to follow a few guideline:

    1. Do not post any explicit (hardcore) porn images in your signature. We have a few kids using the site.
    2. Absolutely do not share your Child Porn in your signature. Would you like the Feds knocking at your door? You would also cause trouble for us! Do this and you'll be banned.
    3. Don't post anything excessively cruel. That means mutilated bodies, RAPE of animals, necrophilia... alternative forms of sex. You know, those kinds of things are things you better keep for a more mature discussion, and not for an open forum. We deal with hacking here. Gore is something we would rather not see here.
    4. Do not share malware or virus without WARNINGS! If you'd like to post links to malware/virus or anything of the like, make sure YOU WARN THE PEOPLE WHO WILL GO TO THOSE FILES/LINKS/PAGES! It's more of an annoyance than a problem to really prepared people when they find out they've stumbled upon something of the sort. But we have people who are not prepared to deal with those, and as such, you could very well be putting their personal and professional files at risk. Fail to do so and you'll be banned. No second chances.
    5. Don't hog the page for yourself. A signature is an extension of your message, not the message itself. Would you like to go through 30 seconds of scrolling of a single signature of a single message? What if the person posted multiple times? That's just TOO ANNOYING! Don't, just don't abuse the trust that the Administrators put on you. Doing that will, once again (and I'm getting tired of telling this) get-you-banned! YAY!

OK, now that we know what NOT TO DO, let me tell you a few things that YOU CAN DO!:

    1. You can post images! Because an image is worth more than a thousand words!;
1.1. Your images can be of almost any type, as long as they comply with those few guidelines above.
    2. You can post links! Because sharing content from other sites is allowed as well!;
    3. You can write! Because we're not insane and we acknowledge that writing is a good way of expressing oneself!

1.2.2.4 Password - Because only YOU should be able to log into your account

Another very simple page, but that, nonetheless, is very important. Here you can change your password! Woot! Best thing ever! And now, I'll disclose to you some Top Secret Info that you'll only find it here! (Got it directly from The Admin :P)

    1. Your password can be as long as you want, but anything longer than 80 characters will be collapsed (Meaning that there will be another password that matches it that is 80 characters long)
    2. Your password can have any character that you want! (That's right, boys and girls, you can put spaces, accented characters and anything fancy that you want out there!)
    3. Your password is encrypted immediately once it enters the system, as such, it can't be recovered easily anyone! We're very much concerned with YOUR privacy and RESPECT it!

(Insert magical screen-shot here)

With all that said, you should change your password as often as it's advised out there, once a semester or a year. This is because people can always try to gain access to your account, and the best way to security is to change passwords as frequently as you're allowed.

1.2.2.5 My Bookmarks - Because no one has an Elephant's Memory.

Have you ever felt the need to follow a thread? Have you ever felt annoyed that you forgot what was the thread that you wanted to follow but could not because you're too forgetful? Have you ever needed to bookmark a page but at the time to check it you got lost in the middle of so many bookmarks that you have stored in your browser? Have you ever just wanted to hit that star that is present at the top of every thread?
WELL then await no more! If you have answered yes for any of the above questions, and possibly any other related to bookmarks and curiosity, this is the place for you!

1.2.2.6 My Files - Because you can host files at KongHack

Are you tired of having one site for images, another for flash, another for text, another for your porn? Are you tired of having to remember too many logins and passwords that you can't even remember what belongs to what anymore? Are you tired of wasting your time going to different sites and learning different ways of working with the interface?
Well, worry not, your problems have just been solved! By opting to sign in to KongHack you not only have got a place to learn how to hack, got yourself a place in a top-of-the-cream hacking community, but also, you have a place to host files! And best of all, with a very friendly and sleek interface! Everything that you post on the forums will be automatically uploaded to your own space here in KongHack!

(Insert magical example screen-shot here)

On this page you can see how far you are from being a mere mortal, either into immortality or from it (a.k.a L337h4x).
We will focus the side panels here on this section (That's actually what matters in the UCP).

(Insert magical screen-shot of only the side menu here)

<The following sections were shamelessly copied and pasted from the old entries. Any similarities with those are completely consequential to the laziness of the current writer in typing a new text for the already explained sections. Keep in mind that doing this on Real Life is very dangerous and could get you thrown to jail for plagiarism, theft of intellectual property and possible lost of points and grades in your tests. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES COPY THE ACT OF COPYING AND PASTING OF PAST WRITTEN TEXT. This was done by professionals who were monitored by the appropriate medical service in case the events here done led to injuries and physical and mental damage of the ones who were doing it.>

1.2.2.7 My Points - Everything you should worry about is here

(YAY!)

How you earn points however depends on the type of contribution (You can this in the Point Store page)

    a) At registration you get 100 points to start losing;
    b) For every post you have you get 5 points + 0.005 points per character in the post (Meaning that I get huge points for every post because I love to write :p);
    c) Every new topic gets you 10 points just because you were cool enough to start something (please don't be dumb to start a topic that will get you banned);
    d) Just by participating in the chat with something will get you 0.1 points for each time you send something in the chat;
    e) Being a real hacker and contributing to the community will award you 150 points! (If you'd like to learn how to hack please read Chapter 3; also, this there will be changes in the way hacks are awarded points so pay attention to the announcements);
    f) Voting in a hack and helping the community know if a hack is useful or useless will award you with wooping 5 points;
    g) Sharing the love you have for a game and submitting it to the game database will award you even more wooping 25 points!, be it manually or automatically (though most of the games are automatically and there's no real way to submit it manually anymore);
    h) By sharing even more love to those who don't love the game as you and allow them to have your progress (be it for Flash, HTML5 or Unity games) will give you 100 points;
    i) If you want to be helpful and let others know your thoughts about a game, you can always submit a game Review. This will give you 50 points;
    j) Finally but even no less important (acutally it's the most important), if you share with the site your hard and sweaty income, you will get wooping (and i mean it for real) 500 points for every dollar! (So if you wanna be real supporter go and give KongHack your money!)

This copying and pasting is dedicated in memory of all those who fall victim to lack of creativity, tendinitis, tendisinovites and other repetitive movement syndromes, laziness and writer-block. 1.2.2.9 Link Shortener - Because even we can make visiting links fast

Following the birth of a huge number of sites that shorten links, in order to make it easier to surf the net, KongHack has made it possible for you to have at your disposal this hugely useful function right here!

(Insert magical screenshot here)

Here you can both create a link by clicking on the "Create New Link" located in the superior left corner of the screen to create your own link. Since this is a small community, the moment that you make a link you can also choose what will be it's name! So if you ever feel the need to create a /FuckMyMother or /Suckmydickbitch link you can do it right here! (Please keep in mind that people who will click in the link will possibly be able to understand what the name of the link is so discretion is recommended.)
Also, right here you can see how people were dumb enough to have clicked on your link and follow it to the utmost destiny that the link leads them to. This way you can see how many people were /suckers or /fags.
And in case you have a change of mind you can also delete those links to allow other people to enjoy the feeling of having a /fuckingidiot or /iamthebiggestgaythereis link.

1.2.2.10 Chat Info - Leaving behind asynchrony communication and getting into synchrony conversation

This is the place where, unless you are like me and have all of these engraved into your mind due to the bitchiness of the several chat clients that you have tried and not worked correctly, you can find the needed information to configure a chat client in order to leave behind candy and jump into better chat clients.
You will also find here examples of clients to use and a few tutorials of how to get them working for you.

1.2.2.11  Site Settings - Where you will find a dedicatory to me the writer
+
This is a very bland page, almost blank and tasteless but it is also a tribute to me! Actually, in quite a few parts of the site if you were to read the code and see the comments you will find my name there. TIM and I have very different priorities when it comes to writing code and explanations and because of that, when I win the argument, he makes sure to let everyone know of how annoying I can be in my Grammar-Naziness and how I try to make the site clearer to understand.
Now seriously, right now you are able to choose whether you would like to see the site right in the first page or not. That's all. Click on your favourite selection and hit that Save Changes and get out of here for funnier and nonetheless useful parts of the site.

(Insert magical screenshot here)

1.2.2.12 Email Settings - Because no one likes junk mail.

So you figure that the site has been sending you too much or too few emails? Well don't despair! Right here you can choose whether you'd like to receive more email or less. Very few can be said about it so let's move on.

(Insert magical screenshot here)

1.2.2.13 User Script - Because unless you have this then you're a loser.

In case you still don't have this very handy tool you should go and do yourself a favour and download it, the link to it should be located on the right side of this page. At the left side of it you will be able to configure the behaviour of the userscript. If you ever feel that something is lacking, say there is no chat or there is no hacks showing, or you'd like to remove them in order to make your 56k connection faster in the loading of page you can customize it here. Go on and do some changes just so you can see how everything works, their names should give you pretty much what they affect and as such I won't make this section bigger than it deserves to be.

(Insert magical screenshot here)

1.2.2.14 My Security - Because NSA has made all of us more paranoid than we should have been otherwise.

So you feel like the government has reasons to monitor your usage of this site, or you're afraid your little brother will get you banned by posting a "where the fuck is hack X? Why the fuck you won't hack game Y, even my dead grandmother could do it you faggots!" or you don't want your lover looking at all that porn you have stashed under the cover of "My Files"? Then this is the place where you make it possible for people to log in from different locations (read IPs) possible or not. It should be very easy to use and I strongly suggest you enable this function. It won't take you more than 5 minutes in order to enable it and every time your ip changes or you try to access the site from a different place it won't take more than 3 minutes until you validate the new ip.

(Insert magical screenshot here)

1.2.2.15 UCP Home - I was itching to get here.

This is possibly the best place to look at when you feel depressed. Right here you will find how into or how far you are from being a recognized member of the community.
In case you are not a L337h4x, this will show how much of a badass you still have to become. If you are then it will show how much of a badass you are! Read the page because I don't feel like explaining things that are so well explained here.

1.3 Searching - Because there's a searching function

So most of the times you'll see a nice and very well hidden button called "Search" in forums, but just as often you'll also see that along with it there's this empty bar where you can input stuff, any stuff, and  it works wonders. It just so happens that we also have this neat stuff called "search box"! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sure you people are smart and must know how to use a search box right? But then it doesn't hurt how to remind you people AGAIN!

First of all, if you guys are looking for a game, all you have to is to TYPE THE NAME OF THE GAME! There's a magical auto-complete function inside the search box that will look for the game that you are looking for and if there is a game with that name already submitted in the database it will then show you in a neat drop-down menu all the games that correspond to that! You don't even have to press enter OK?

(Insert magic example here)

If you're looking for a post or something else, then there's no other help then finishing the search and pressing the ENTER button after you're done inputting the search parameters and start the query.

(Insert magic example here)

Since we have AJAX implemented in the site only the part under the big red menu will change. You will notice that there is 4 Sections right below the red menu. These are: Search, Games, Topics and Posts.
(Insert magic example here)

In case you're wondering what each one shows, just create a brain and read the names, they're very appropriate for their functions! If you're looking for generic search it should show under the "Search" tab.

(Insert magical example here)

Click on the Games will show all the games that have the keywords that you have searched for. This is very helpful in case you know only part of the game name and the direct game search doesn't return the game that you're looking for.

(Insert magical example here)

Under the Post tab you will find all posts that have the words that you have searched for. This might generates huge amounts of results if you use generic words so please have in mind that in case you're looking for words in posts unless you want to have all posts in the forum as a result.

(insert magical example here)

Finally but not least, the Topics tab will show you all the topics that are related to the words that you have input. Like the Posts, try to be as objective as you can but leave some margin for error. If you're looking for "Tutorials" don't look for "Tutorials that teach you how to shit", that is too damn specific and will most likely NOT DIRECT YOU TO A TUTORIAL TEACHING HOW TO SHIT! You might find it if you instead input only the words "Tutorial" and "Shit". (I still think you will not find that tutorial but who knows... you might want to make one instead!).

(Input magical example here).

1.4 Forums and Sub-forums - Placing things on the right places

So now that you've made sure that what you want is not anywhere in the forums, and that when you post you won't get banned because of something idiot, it's time to make sure you post things in the right place.
You'll notice that we have a very neat place, with many many forums and sub-forums. As a matter of fact, this very tutorial is placed in the Tutorial Sub-Forum of the Resource Forum. Or so it should have been.

(Insert magic example of the Forum Screen here)

With so many forums and sub-forums, it might be a pain in the beginning, but with time it grows on you. The only thing that you should be aware is that, for the sake of better organization and easiness of reading, we'd like you to post your related things on the right place! It isn't that hard is it? If you want to post something in related to kongregate, post it on the Kongregate section. Newgrounds, on the Newgrounds one, and so on.

(Insert magic Kongregate example here)

(Insert magic Newgrounds example here)

It is also helpful to pay attention to what comes on top of the Forum. There you will find the Sub-Forums. There are Sub-Forums because there might be several posts inside a forum that are very objective or that have the same topics. As an example there is the "Tutorials" section under the "Resource" forum.

(Insert magic example here)

This is one of those cases when too many threads have the same idea and it would be interesting to have all of them under the same section in order for easiness of finding and organization. I hope you pay attention to this as this makes life easier for people who don't want to use the search because they don't have a specific word they want to search and instead want to find instead a topic (not a thread) they're interested in.

1.5 Feedback and Bugs - Because TIM and the development team loves hearing your problems and about his/their screws ups (and your praises as well!)

Now that you already know how to search and post, it's about time you know what to do when you come up with something useful for the community. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you were useless before this, but that's just how things happen to be! (j/k)
More often than not, you'll have some sort of problem using the site, and that is totally YOUR FAULT! Because TIM is just awesome! But, even if that is the case, don't feel bad. Share it with us! Here on KongHack we have this amazing but not as much as TIM bug tracker for all your needs. To find it it very simple, just scroll down ALL THE WAY DOWN the screen and see the black link calling you to get lost in it.

(Insert magic Screen-shot example here)

Once here the first thing you have to do is to login again. It's very easy actually, just use the same username and password you use to log in once in the main area of the site.

(Insert magical screen-shot example here)

Once logged in, a screen full with colours should appear and you'll most likely feel as lost as a baby in a new world. But that's OK, Tsumi is here to guide you through your visit here. We'll just cover the basics here.

(Insert magical screen-shot example here)

1.5.1 My View

You'll get logged on by default on the "My view", which will show you almost everything you need to know.
Right on the higher part of the screen you'll find a grayish bar with the most important items you'll need.

(Insert magical screen-shot giving emphasis example here)

Under it you'll find 5 panels which should show you everything you need to know about bugs, feedbacks and suggestions that are logged in this page.

On the top left part of this are issues which have yet to be assigned in any sort of way by anyone of the development team. On the top right part are the issues submitted by you, independent of their status. On the middle left are the issues which have been solved. Middle right are those that have been recently modified in w/e manner, just as the name says, and finally the bottom left are those that you have chosen to follow.

1.5.2 Reporting Issues

Moving on, we will get to the juicy part of this. On the gray menu we have the "Report Issue" and this is probably the reason most of you will come to this part of the site.

(Insert magical screen-shot showing the screen here)

First thing first, you'll want to select a category, just like that red star is telling you. Once you've chosen between a Bug, an Improvement and a Feature, it's time to complete

1.6 Badge Hack - Because this is what you came for.

Chances are that if you play games in Kongregate then you're looking for hacks to get that damn badge that been eluding you all day. So why not have someone do the hard job for you and give you the badge INSTANTLY then play the game through?

1.6.1 Getting KBH - If it were easier you should give up on life

In cause you haven't yet learned how to use the search, please do. There is a thread dedicated solely to KBH (Kongregate Badge Hack) that not only allows you to download it, but also tells you if it is working or not.

(insert screenshot here)

In case you're dumb enough I'll explain to you what you have to do. You have to click on the link that is right bellow the DOWNLOAD phrase. Just that...

1.6.2 Getting KBH to work - It might not be as easy as it sounds

Once you have downloaded KBH and opened it (if you have problems opening it please read the troubleshooting section next) you have to prepare the program to do the job for you:

1 - First you click on files/menu and then Login
    (Anchor screenshot here)
2 - Input your login information here. We do not need your loser's account so rest assured.
    (Anchor screenshot here)
3 - On the URL field you input the URL for the game that you want to get the badge. (for help finding this read the next session)
    (Anchor screenshot here)
4 - Choose which Badge or Score you would like to submit a new value from the "Select Categories"
    (Anchor screenshot here)
5 - It should already have the value needed for the badge but in case you want to change it select it from the "Stats to Submit" box and change the value on the "New Stat Value" field
    (Anchor screenshot here)
6 - After you've finished selecting the stats you want to submit click on the "Send packet to Kongregate"

Change Log:
Version 0.3 (13-09-28): Completed up to 1.4.2. No screenies nor anchors yet. Introduced the logging system only for fun. Need to fix spaces, enters, tabs and all the other parts of it. Still a long way to go huh...

Version 0.4 (13-10-04): Restructured the first sub-section, reusing Gate' 101 Tutorial as a model. No pictures yet. Gotta work on more stuff yet.
Version 0.5 (13-10-05): Continued with UCP, too many things to talk about it. *Rolls eyes* You bitches better enjoy it, not that I care if you don't. At least you guys will have a place to refer to.
Version 0.6 (14-01-17): After 3 monthes without updates I have decided to work on this "Wiki" again! Major overhaul of the 1.2 section to adequate with the changes that the site has gone through. Still need the screenshots, will probably leave them for last. I'm still accepting help here!
Version 0.7 (14-01-17): So I'm doing overtime here and I have updated it twice in a day! Woot, someone should give me cookies, I definetly deserve some after doing this update. All the dropdown menus have been completed, I mean, user ones. Now I'm going to the real deal of the site, including the search, how the forums work and the report bug features and etc. I'm considering changing the order and pulling a few of the things up and pushing a few things down but I'm still undecided. I'd like to thank gates for posting here! Thank you "gates"!
Version 0.8 (14-01-20): Completed Part 1.3, 1.4 and started 1.6. To work on part 1.5 I'll need to log in Mantis but I screwed up my account there so I'll make it later.

1.0 Grabbing the game and all of its glory

Before you can become a l33t h4x0r, you have to already have, or obtain, whatever it is you want to hack! As nice as it would be to magically snap your fingers and have hacks, thats not how life works, sadly. So if we're hacking a game, we must HAVE the game first. This section shall tell you how to grab it so we can get to work later!

1.1 - AdBlock Plus

AdBlock Plus is a plugin/script that you can install on Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera. Its original purpose is to block advertisements (and it does a good job) but we here at konghack found a way to use it to our benefit. Once a game is loaded, you can hover over where the game is in your browser, and click the "Block" tab that appears either at the top or bottom of the game. This will bring up a screen that shows what exactly it is that you are blocking. Since the game is an swf, and its trying to block the game, you just found the link to the game's swf! so you can copy it, and paste it into your address bar, load the page, and then "save page as" and boom, you have the game.

1.2 - Charles Web Debugging Proxy

Charles Web Debugging Proxy is a program that you can use to moniter the traffic from your browser (or attached process). it can be used as a packet editor like WPE Pro, or you can use it to find what swf is being loaded. this program is not free, but there is a trial you can download. since some games have a preloader or shell that loads another swf inside of it, it can be a pain to find the real swf. so you record what the page loads, and search (ctrl+f) for anything that ends with .swf and you should be able to find the swf you want easily!

1.3 - SwfmDump

SwfmDump is a program created by our very own Kolonel Kadat and what it does is it finds every swf or dll that is in the memory of the attached process, and it dumps it stright onto your computer. you can download it from http://www.forceprojectx.com/SWFMemoryDumper.zip?attredirects=0

Once downloaded, open it up. Look for your respective browser's process that you would normally attach cheat engine onto. Internet explorer, Chrome, Firefox (flash player) or Opera. Once you find it on the left side, click on it and then click scan process. The highest file size is usually the one you want. If you have multiple files about the same size (over a megabyte) then download all of them.

After click on "dump to disk" This will download the flash game to your computer.

This is an example of Opera and BTD5

2.0 - Finding an AoB like a pro user

This might come as a shock to you, but there are many different ways to find AoB's. We will cover the most used way here in this tutorial of ours. So what do we need to get started? Look below, my young padawan.

2.1 -Types of files

.SWF files: these are flash games. this encompasses almost all browser games in existence
.U3D files: these are unity games. there are less u3d games in comparison to flash, but it is growing. please note that webGL versions of unity and its games currently do not have any easy way of hacking them.

HTML5 games do not currently have any type of file associated with them, and so cannot be hacked in this way.

2.2 - Decompilers

You will need a decompiler to open up whatever file you have. If the game you are trying to hack is flash, (swf file) go to http://www.sothink.com/ and download the trial version of this decompiler. Once installed open up the .swf file that you just downloaded/dumped, and take a look inside. If the file you have is a .dll from a unity game, you can open it up in ILDASM or .net Reflector. If the tools listed in this section arent to your liking, check THIS page where a lot more are listed.

    3.0 - Types of code

now just like there are multiple ways to hack a game or to make an AoB, there are also multiple types of code (aka languages) that these games are made in. knowing the language is not neccessary to make a hack, but boy does it sure help. anyone can make a hack, even you! but the more you know about the language its made in (like as3) or the language we break it into, (assembly) the easier it will be for you.

3.1 - ActionScript1/AVM1

most people call this actionscript2. those people are wrong. actionscript1/avm1 is an absolute pain in the ass and quite difficult to get the hang of. since this has become outdated and you will almost never see a game using this, we shall skip it in this tutorial.

3.2 - ActionScript3/AVM2

THIS is what we want. actionscript3 is what almost all swf's are, and is the basis of hacking flash games for the most part.
ActionScript3 / AVM2
ActionScript3 / AVM2 games are so common, in fact, that there are Anti-cheats and Obfuscators and such that are being made and updated to keep us hackers out, but we wont let that stop us!

3.3 - Unity3D

Unity3D files (.u3d) are usually made in some form of a .net language. which means knowing .net, C, C#, or C++ will definitely benefit you in the long run. Although knowing anything .net related is nice, it is definitely not required, due to the way we make hacks.

3.4 - HTML5

HTML5 code is the same as HTML. Instead of loading a game onto your page, the page IS the game. Now i know you're thinking "well gee, html is super easy! it must not be very hard to hack at all!" but that would be silly of you. Nothing is ever easy for a hacker! Although the main language for html5 games is html, they also tend to use javascript (JS) and sometimes PHP. (which we cannot edit)

3.5 - Memory Editing / Assembly

The Assmebly language is the basis of pretty much all program or game hacking and it will help you tremendously in hacking if you know assembly. Memory editing is the concept of changing the games code (editing the assembly) while its running. (in memory)
Although all memory editing is done in assembly, not all assembly is in memory. Every program you open or have installed, every email you send, and every smiley face you type can be broken down into assembly, so it is a very broad language. Due to this, we will only be focusing on memory editing, since we dont want to make your brain explode.

    4.0 - Changing of code

honestly the best way to learn this is from experience. if you are using sothink go into RAW mode to view the actual array of bytes (AoB). if youre using jpexs it should just appear on the right hand side. inside your decompiler it should show a bunch of things that look kinda like //25 02 0f pushshort 463 or //d0 local 1 or //ff ff something similar.
do not get discouraged or frightened. this is normal. what it's doing is listing the swf's code (pushshort 463) and the array of bytes its made of (//25 02 0f)

that means changing the AoB changes the code inside the game. this is what we do when we hack games! now all you have to do is find an interesting bit of code that you want to change, and copy its AoB down, and then edit the aob so it does something different like add money instead of subtracting it. if it works, congratulations! you just made an aob hack!

4.1 - ActionScript3/AVM2

Since it is so common, there are multiple ways to hack things made in as3/avm2. We will only be covering one way, for now. The method we will be covering is called Decompilation. There is a handy little page full of all the opcodes and what they do right HERE to help you.
The easiest way to do this is by opening the SwfmDump program, and dumping the swf from your browser (this removes some encryptions and obfuscations) then decompiling it with a program like Sothink or JPEXS. once you've decompiled the swf you can read the source code and the hex of the file (which is what we change with AoB's)

4.2 - Unity3D

first off you have to dump the unity dll and then open it with a reflector.
unity3d is also a pain in the ass, and i will not cover it at this time. and probably never. sorry.

4.3 - Memory Editing / Assembly

In conjunction with all these ways to hack games, heres another one. This is when you edit the runtime assembly rather than the source in a way to get whats desired. the most basic way to do this is to find a 4b value in cheat engine, and right click it and see what writes to the address. this will enable the debugger and tell you what is changing the value. so you do something like add a stat, or spend gold, or lose health, or whatever, and the debugger will catch it. then once its inside the debugger, you can view it in the memory viewer to see exactly what the code is doing. if its subtracting a register from another, or decrementing an address, or something similar. then you just change the assembly and youre good to go like taco bell.

How do you use .sol hacks?

A quick tutorial I just typed up:
1. Find the game you want to hack with .sols
2. Click the .sols tab. Then press the "info" button.
3. The first piece of information is the path.
Use this to navigate to your games' sol and replace it with the one you download with the download button at the bottom of the "Info" tab

4. Load up your game.
(If this isn't clear enough, message me)
