not unless you buy him an iphone and then give him like 20 bucks to program it. android isnt too bad since its basically linux, but apple products have strange ass coding

Android is easy to program for, and it's very cheap.  You can write android apps on any platform, and to publish as many apps as you want is something like a one time $25 fee.  When you publish your first android app, it may take a day or two, but they're nearly instant once your first one is published.  Rooting android is a fairly easy process that, in most cases, is very easy to reverse.  I've ran multiple OS upgrades on a rooted phone just fine, and all I had to do was re-run the root program to unlock my phone again after the OS change.

iOS uses some other bullshit and is much more expensive.  While you can try writing iOS apps on any platform, you have to use a Mac to upload them to the iOS store shit.  Publishing cost $99/year if you want to keep your apps on their market.  When you publish iOS apps, even if it's just an update, you'll wait significantly longer.  We once had an iOS app sit in pending for just over 6 weeks before someone reviewed it.  Jailbreaking your iPhone can cause your phone to become a fucking brick.  Considering you paid significantly more for your fancy iPhone than an android user, why would you want to risk turning your expensive investment into shit?  Meh, I've never seen Google try to sue anyone over modifying a phone either... :P

This comes from spending 3 years writing mobile apps for both Android and iOS.  We had an app get rejected 9 times by Apple over the course of 4 months.  We gave up, deleted the app, re-uploaded it, and it was approved 4 days later, as the app was assigned to a different Apple Technician for review.  They're complete fucking assholes to deal with.

Also, it's wise to note that apps requiring you to Jailbreak your iPhone will never get published, since Apple is completely against Jailbreaking your phone.  There are thousands of root only apps available on Google Play.  Since the KHUT modifies memory, it requires root (jailbreak) access to your device.  Doing that on iOS isn't realistic.

out of all the responses, this one is absolutely correct.

current plan is to finish the android one, then get to work on a WoD version, then linux, then, if someone wants it bad enough to bank roll it, release an ios version.

Man, you'd better load that iPhone version with as many ads as possible. ;)

check this out. I was thinking of spinning 2 versions of the phone trainer. A free one with ads, and a "pro" version for like $4.99 without ads and maybe some extra features.

how does that strike ya?

Maybe something like that for the hacks themselves, where all the items are within a single "container" and separated by a thin line.
The black on red of the text doesn't seem to read as well as the white of red, so maybe try that?
I really like the non selected hack look

For the strings fitting in the content boxes, might be able to do the android equivalent of

 WinForms: graphics.MeasureString(string)

if that's even possible.
