Well I finally got banned. I was in the Weirdos guild and I guess they did a check of the whole guild. Not sure if any of you guys saw me or heard me talking before, but I was Kobato.

Oh well. It was pretty fun while it lasted. Some of those people in there were pretty cool though, fun to talk to.

Also, I'm sure you guys already know this, but they're watching this forum heavily. For it's new members, I suggest you not make your Konghack name the same as your Kongregate name.

I'm done with Cloudstone. Going to move on to bigger games. Have fun and good luck on destroying this game.

theyre watching the KH forums? awesome =D id say that means we're doing a good job at hacking. i just wish they would tell me where its pushing "hacks". i literally disabled every check i could find. craisins, crayhp/dmg, checkcheaters, hackfastkills, checkcheatusage or some such. by all rights it shouldnt be pushing it and it is. drives me nuts. but im too lazy to find the problem, such is the life of TNC.

oh and if they read this, i hope they know we'll just try to update the hacks again. i mean, thats what we do. i kinda stopped caring about cloudstone when it took forever to start leveling up and they banned me for taking the shortcut of respawn rate + admin F1

It's not.

Weirdos is constantly searching out for hackers (based on their stats+armor+rank, etc.) and sending in a report to the admins to have their account scanned.

If the admins see anything suspicious on an account, like a certain amount of stat stones in a certain amount of time, or ruby gear but never purchased rubies, and other things, they'll ban the account.

And it doesn't take long to level up at all. Here's what I did.

Enable the admin console, copy the code "clearZone 1", then download an autotyper (I suggest Axife Mouse Recorder, extremely fast), open up the console, enable sticky keys so that CTRL is always held down (Axife cant record CTRL held down), record yourself spamming V and Enter. Now buy an XP boost, open up the console, and let it rip at an extremely fast speed.

Another technique I used was I enabled the console, changed my attack speed, attack damage, and attack range. Use the command "champSpawn 1" then use a shard boost. Click on "Test" and set the level to 300. You get around 20,000 shards in 15 minutes.

The things you can do with mouse/keyboard recorders. I set up a macro with the Gauntlet Level 0 and Instant Dymaic Spawn to get full Necro set in an extremely short amount of time.

me all alt banned too, but in different time (about 1 day gap), one by one... so I guess dev ban only by reporting.

btw, as hellfirespet said, the dev had set a time limit between champ killing (3min) in latest update, if killing 2 packs of champ of different zone within this period, "hacks" + 2000!

I think some client side hack are still good, like "Bonus to: movement speed... ", "interactive range" or diable ai, but not that involve server processing, eg. those time stamp related, auto-producer/Gauntlet lv 0, may be even burden bag... the dev has not track these hacks yet, but they are easily implement in server side... if dev or cheater hunter (Weirdos) does read this forum.
These aobs may became a trap... should I remove some of these aob from submited code?

Oh, they finally added anti-cheat measures? Took them long enough.

And I say keep them up, but put a warning underneath.

There are already some anti-cheat, read newcomer's last message.
Landmines can be avoid if you can see them :)

i didnt see the champ one. then again im probably looking at an outdated swf. i grabbed it like 2 weeks ago.

and yes hellfirespet, it does push hacks somewhere. i know because i checked with charles. its either when killing somthing with f1, or just killing too many monsters with f1. like i said i disabled hackfastkills.

if a cloudstone dev reads this, make an account and talk to us. we're actually pretty friendly and if your cool like the other game devs we'll probably help you make your game more secure =) just dont expect us to give up on hacking your game.
and if someone (currently) in the weirdos guild reads this, tell all the oldies i said hey. especially hpa. lul. that guy hates my guts and hes probably mad that i dont mind. it wont change me being a nice guy to him and the other oldies.

Weirdos are fun, they accuse everyone of cheating when their guild is full of hackers, lol. I wouldn't be surprised that hpa is a cheater himself.
By the way... I was trying to increase the shards dropped by monsters, or spawn only champs, any tips?

if you wanted to spawn only champs youd have to change something like the champ spawn limit. because they made it so only 1 group of champs spawns per zone. if you can find where it is, im sure you can disable it or change the number.

Huh, I wonder why I never got banned. Also, I'm pretty sure everybody there hates us. Just got this message

"thanks alot, because of people like you, great games with great community like Cloudstone get ruined. Now because of your shard hacking, we got all f*cked aswell with this new update preventing shard hacking."

Also, I might have found a way to bypass a ban.

Edit: Yepp, found a way to bypass it. The only thing is you need a complete backup of the packet that holds your accounts info, but you can make a new account and use that packet too.

So does that mean they were hacking shards as well?

As SaucyJack said, intresting message, unless last word is a typo, hacking -> hunting... but still... how do they know  there is a spawn wait 3min (only change to shard hunting) if they are legit ? or upset by such change? Anyway, today's update has lower the wait from 3min to 30sec. Wonder why dev accept this request... , normal champ spawn rate is so low (~1 in 100 new room entering, unless changed by admin command), it rarely spawn a second champ in another zone after 3 min killing previous one.
 

Could you experiment to change the data of userdata, for example, "name" or "CreditPurchased"? These may be a way to remove hack traces.

im sure quite a few people were hacking shards.

I could but I don't have my actual account back. I made a new account, saved the packet that contained all that info, and put it in place of my banned account's packet (which has NOTHING in it except "Sorry, but your account has been disabled.")

I don't think doing this actually saves anything you do though. I'm able to play and do everything normally, but if I refresh it just goes right back to my disabled account.

Also, I'm pretty sure they removed alot of admin commands. Some of them aren't working anymore.

either theyre setting a trap, or they gave us some slack.
i now that its probably the first one, but id like to believe its the second. i mean, just because we hack it doesnt mean we arent a part of the userbase.

also, i dont think it works like that. you cant just change your name and suddenly be untraceable. unfortunately. otherwise id make my alt's "hacks" get pushed onto my main thats already banned.
