I did have a web version of KBH in the works, but didn't have the logic down for parsing a page. It chiefly operated through the client using an ass load of javascript. We already have a way of tracking what badges each person has, but in the name of not connecting a Kongregate account to a KongHack account, we're not doing it. Going with that, we have a list of all kong badges in the site. Hell, there's even a script around here that will compare a kongregate user account to all of the badges and list what badges you need. Hmmm, I haz an idea, but I need to talk to Kolonel first. :)

Well the reason behind my idea was a "game" called Badge Master that was doing exacly that.
I don't know exacly how it was comparing badges but i was using it earlier when i had lots of badges to get. |

Ok guys, I have no problem running the program but I experience an unhandled exception error when I try to log in using KBH program.
"Could not load file or assembly 'System Web, Version 4.0.0.0" System cannot find the file specified? EDIT: Log in problem resolved when I downloaded and installed .NET framework 4.5. Not sure why Im hacking for badges though, I love flash games and usually only hacked for the better experience. But now... |

After clicking a link it would pass it to main window and invoke get categories. coming soon. will most likely be a konghack users only kind of deal.  Any input on the UI? I just found this (mainly cuz I haven't been active) and I can't be bothered going through 7 pages, so this might have been suggested:
There should be an option to sort of retreive all the badges the user is missing and put them in queue, and earn them all at a click of a button. And if there were (random) pauses between the badges (like 1 minute, or 20 seconds...) so the user doesn't flood Kongregate (looks less suspicious), that would be a cool feature.

the code for this is mostly done. its really just a matter of converting it over to a plugin based system so we can add bonus features for people with higher forum ranks (like leethax or even something like X posts). just something to encourage forum activity.
