One more time for those search impaired individuals.

My attempt at idiot proof instructions for my scripts. It doesn't take as long as the instructions make it look.

You need to have Cheat Engine 6.1
Code: [Select]
1) Open Cheat Engine
2) Open your browser of choice and navigate to the game
3) Select the proper process in Cheat Engine depending on your browser.
    a) Firefox
        i) Select plugin-container.exe
    b) Chrome
        i) Open a 2nd tab
        ii) Navigate to about:memory
iii) Look for Plug-in Shockwave Flash and note the number in the PID column
iv) Select any process in Cheat Engine
        v) Type the PID into the "Value" box, then check the "Hex" box next to it
vi) Note the Hex value in the box now
vii) Go back to the select process list and look for the process that is matches that hex value followed by chrome.exe
    c) Internet Explorer
        i) Internet Explorer is horrible.
4) In the Cheat Engine menu bar Click "Table" > "Show Cheat Table Lua Script"
5) In the new "Lua Script: Cheat Table" window, open my script, or paste it in if you already opened it in a text editor.
6) Optional:
    i) At the bottom of the script there a many lines with hack(....
ii) These are the individual hacks which you can turn on or off.
iii) They are on by default but you turn one off just add -- at the beginning of the line
iv) Hacks such as the ones that Auto Upgrade your base will cause a crash if you try to attack someones base. This is why it is good to turn hacks like this off when you no longer need them.
7) Back in the main Cheat Engine window, check the Enable Speedhack box.
8) Set the speed to 0 and click apply.
9) Refresh your browser page and wait for the game to freeze while trying to load.
10) Back in the "Lua Script: Cheat Table" window, click "Execute script".
11) Wait for the Output window to say it is done.
12) Now uncheck the Enable Speedhack box.
13) The game should continue loading with the hacks now enabled.
There you have it. Although I'm reminded of a Douglas Adams quote:
"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools."

I'm using fiddler2 and Google chrome and it works fine for me, no problems what so ever. As it has been stated before if you are currently researching rocket boosters, cancel it, because it wont work with this crack, and I also read that if you have already researched rocket boosters it wont work. I just made an account and this crack works.
Just FYI, cracking is different from hacking, "hacking" is when a person improves a program by making a program run more efficiently than its creator, which is legal. However, "cracking" is an illegal form of hacking, where a program is reversed engineered and bypasses security measures. But most people have forgotten the difference.
My brother works with the military cyber defense division or whatever, and he clarified to me the difference between a hacker and a cracker.
So to be precise "cracking" is what we are doing to this game, because it isn't allowed. While hacking is something you do to and iPod or whatever to make it run more efficiently.
So "slowmo", "gyan1010" and "omg34" are actually "CRACKERS".
My intentions weren't to get all... hahaha i cant think of the word, I'm kinda drunk. I guess i would say "politically correct". So to be "politically correct, we are "cracking" this game not "hacking".

I digress when I say "we" are hacking" because im neither a "hacker" or a "cracker" but a "leecher". However I'am very grateful to those who take it upon themselves to "crack" this game and share it with the rest of us. And after my vacation is over I hope that I can help with cracking this game.

Could be defined as either. A cracker is just a malicious hacker with intentions to cause harm or break something, which yes includes security provisions. Hacker is someone who enjoys understanding how systems work and learning to manipulate them.

Since I don't really do this to play the game, I get the fun from reading through the code and figuring it out, I consider myself a hacker. The fact that I post what I find so others can cheat is just a small ego boost. If I were actually using the cheats to play the game and get ahead of others, or ruin the game in some other way it could be argued that I'm a cracker. But I haven't done anything in the game in weeks except find and test the hacks.

What you say is true, there is a fine line between a hacker and a cracker. But I would call you guys crackers. It may be true that you are trying to understand coding and all that mess that im oblivious to, however your main intentions are to bypass the games security and make it work the way you want it to. Its harmless cracking, opposed to cracking a bank or something along those lines. There is nothing wrong with being a cracker, you give hackers a job. My brother calls himself a hacker because he has to find ways to prevent crackers from breaking the system he is running.

Hacking Battle Pirates would actually be finding a way to make the game work with fewer code lines, and making it run more efficiently. But thats not what your doing, your cracking the codes and manipulating them to do things the creator didnt intend to. I.E instant upgrade, and instant everything else. Once again I will state im not against harmless cracking, its a great learning tool if you want to get into computer programming.

I know the difference, but i generally think of crackers as people with malicious intends. However, I will not deny that what we are doing IS against the rules, so i bring wikipedia up as my information source
"black-hat hacker, that is, someone who breaks into computers with malicious or criminal intentions. Used by white hat computer security hackers to stress the difference in ethics.
software cracker, someone who modifies software to remove or disable copy protection and digital rights management features"

we are doing neither of this things, so now quoting wikipedia on hacker "A computer hacker is a person who finds out weaknesses in the computer and exploits it. Hackers may be motivated by a multitude of reasons, such as profit, protest, or challenge"

just food for thought
