In looking through the xml files, we can deduce dates of upcoming releases. Like PVP being over, or a character being added to the roster.
Dates are all in Unix Epoch format. I'll leave thisd here http://epochconverter.com/

Now, when I download these two files:

I'm not able to produce different files when using "confirmed" version codes. Both of the ones I use are the same. Is there anything I am missing?

Here's a quick site I threw together.

Add a code using the following scheme:

The page only displays 10 but I keep the full database. I can also increase the view if it's wanted enough.
The use of this website is to gather the codes in a somewhat central location along with less stuff inbetween. We can also use these for later analysis if wanted.

I believe if you download client.xml instead of ab.xml you will see different versions.  I'll test this in a second.

Look in daily for  <agentNotRequired>true</agentNotRequired>  and replace with  <agentNotRequired>false</agentNotRequired>

I have already posted that changing xp multipler makes it look good but once you refesh additional xp disappears.

Hello there, just search for <xpMultiplier> inside danger_room.xml

Ok open up danger room xml file and find anyone of the classes.  I did blaster, and you will find the third line listed 468 is tier 1, which is the first challenge.  The first 2 line deal with the 5cp reward you get from finishing challenge.  Then go way down list and you will find white list description Blasters Only, and second one which is line 846772 you will see  a multipler of 425.0 now if you change that you will get more xp in game.  But as I said once you refresh the extra xp you got will be gone.

i almost deleted your post. because you are asking stupid questions.
everybody here gets their own xmls, nobody posts them, dont ask.
and when it comes to getting them and modding them please read the "easy win" thread cover to cover.

remapping of xmls doesnt usually slow down your game.

long story short:

    -you did it wrong
    -your setup is different
    -your files:
            -are corrupt
            -are incomplete (files sometimes download incomplete)
            -may be missing entirely
      -if you map manually, your URL codes:
            -might be mistyped
            -might not be updated with the latest update revision umber
    -last but not least, you just might be unlucky
